Benjys Karaoke Bar

They actively skipped peoples choices of songs in order to curate a specific vibe. While I understand the idea of curation, what’s the point of having a whole 400+ page song selection to choose from?

People are left waiting for hours only to realise at the last minute their song hasn’t been chosen. Totally ruined the mood of a few parties. May as well just have a set song playlist.

Also, Wonderwall twice? Ok lol.

Had such a great time at Benjys on Friday night for a work Xmas party. The bar has such a fun, community vibe and everyone was in great spirits. Lots of love in the room! The owner, Tim, has created such a welcoming and safe space. I will be telling ALL my mates and will definitely be back with my karaoke obsessed sister really soon.

Tim and Jazz are truly the loveliest venue owners you’ll ever meet. I left some belongings there recently and they stopped at nothing to return them to me! It’s a joy to have such community minded people dedicated to running a venue that gives so much back to their patrons (including precious items). Keep doing what you’re doing xxx

Our final stop for our work Christmas party this year was Benjys! What a PERFECT choice. The owners were so lovely in organising and accommodating our large group. They had lined up some our favourite songs just for us! The atmosphere and energy of Benjys is second to none. Cannot fault the energy, vibes, hospitality and FUN AMAZING SINGING we had at Benjys!

Worked at Benjys from 2019 to this year. It was my first bar job and the owners were so welcoming, treated me like family on and off shift, and taught me so much about hospo. The locals who come here on the weekend are also so polite to everyone in the venue. Whether you're looking for a place to work here or just coming as a customer, you will be highly valued and looked after. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

My time working at Benjy's has been nothing short of unbelievable. I have never experienced a workplace that is so generous, caring and accommodating; nor have I had two bosses that have been so pure and kind. Jazz and Tim - beyond their professionalism as bosses - are two of the best people I know, and it was an honour to work alongside them for 1.5 years. Lastly, working at Benjy's, I have had the nicest relationships with regulars and newcomers; it truly is the safest, happiest karaoke bar in Australia and I am so proud to have been a part of its history.

What can I say, Benjy’s is THE place to go if you want a fun night guaranteed! I recently celebrated my 30th birthday at Benjy’s and had the absolute time of my life. Tim and Jazz went above and beyond to make sure my night was as special as can be- they are stellar hosts and have created such a fabulous space for us to let our hair down and enjoy some great tunes together. I absolutely love the sense of community and fun every time I go, there’s no other place like it in the world and even the shyest of singers can’t help but have a sing and a boogie. So much love and thanks to Tim, Jazz & the Benjys team for all your hard work!

Had a birthday here recently, they don't take bookings on weekends but we got in early enough. Staff was accommodating, patrons were friendly, and a killer vibe in general. Tim is an absolute legend. Will definitely be coming back!

Even though the place is crowded, Tim and Jazz make sure the bathrooms and the floors are always clean - making your night nothing but more fun and comfortable.

I had the most wonderful birthday event at Benjys! Tim was extremely organised and very friendly, making the organising of the event very stress free. He greeted us at the door and made everyone feel welcome throughout the night. The karaoke was so much fun and such a great set up. This was the best birthday I've had in years and it was all thanks to Tim and his awesome team. I couldn't recommend Benjys more highly. Thank you for having us!

I organised my friend’s Hens night at Benjy’s a few weeks ago. It was the BEST night! Jazz and Tim were incredible hosts and made the whole night run seamlessly. They made my friend feel so special and really went the extra mile to make sure everyone was having an amazing time. Couldn’t recommend Benjy’s more highly! Such an amazing place!

Always a fun time at Benji's! Had a group on Friday as a leaving party, and was given such a friendly & personalised send off. Super friendly & amenable staff, and a massive selection of songs to boot! Great atmosphere, thanks Benji's for such a memorable night!

Had such an amazing time at Benjy’s! The atmosphere was great, the drinks were great and very reasonably priced, you can order Uber eats to the bar and they have an awesome courtyard. The owners have worked really hard to make a safe, fun space where everyone is welcome. Do yourself a favour!

Always a great night out. Something for everyone with the karaoke inside, the beer garden outside and being able to bring outside food in for the midnight cravings!

Had a private booking on Monday evening for my birthday party. Tim and Jazz were very easy to work with in terms of organising the party, and were exceptional hosts and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time! Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves to celebrate with a bit of karaoke:)

I had my birthday at Benjys on Saturday night. It was the best night ever! Firstly, I have to applaud the fantastic service by Tim, owner. He greeted me on my arrival, was a super host, kind, friendly and helpful. He also organised a birthday shot for me. Secondly, the venue is really well set out. The back area is fun to chat with friends and then inside is a great area to sing, dance and drink with friends. Thirdly, the song list is extensive.

I would highly recommend Benjy's if you want a fun night out, with a great atmosphere, friendly vibes and awesome songs to sing and dance to!

Had my (very belated) birthday here last night and I couldn’t have asked for a better night. My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves and the staff are SO friendly. We will definitely be back
