Benino's Pizza reviews
59 A great range of pizzas that are tasty, generously topped with fresh ingredients on bases that remain crisp. A wide range of gourmet / specialty pizzas & other Italian style meal offerings means there is lots to choose from, it’s easy to customise, well priced &
all ready piping hot at the same time when picking up or having it delivered.
Lookout for special offers when ordering online or via the App for great $avings on yr entire order ;D
Bad delivery experience. Refused to do contactless delivery and damaged food. Delivery was by restaurant despite being ordered through Deliveroo. Called restaurant to lodge complaint with them instead of publicly but was hung up on. Won’t be returning.
Recently changed our pizza joint. It might be further away and have to drive but We love the fact that the dought is always nicely cooked, never saggy and the quantity of the ingredients is exactly as they should.
Always the same consistent quality and always willing to accomodate any requirements at pleasing prices. Also the special ones are realy special! Recomened without hesitation
I have been coming here for years something has changed maybe owners unfortunately my 14-year-old son couldn’t eat the pizza he said it was horrible, mum and dad felt the same lacking in Taste, possibly non-fresh food.
Keep it fresh.
Great place to have pizza with different variety. Friendly staff and off corse pizza are also amazing. Same taste every time and deliveries are on the spot. Worth the money
Parking might be an issue to the people who are coming for the first time.:)
The best pizza in the South East of Melbourne! Very friendly customer service where they make youa feel you are apart of the family. They work through holidays compare to other pizza stores that close!
Best pizza and pasta in the area by a LONG WAY! On top of that the staff are lovely! We drive past about a dozen other places to go here, so worth it!
Tried the place when we had friends come over. Great pizzas and interesting and generous topping options. Nice to have a local good pizza place.
Had high hopes coming to this place for the first time and unfortunately was sorely dissapointed.
I ordered a family size pizza half n half marinara and romana add prawns.
They had forgotten the prawns on the marinara half (how is this possible, it's literally a marinara pizza fam)
I was also told (over the phone) that the cost would come to a total of $18.50 once I had gotten there to pickup the pizza I was then told it was $20.10. I mentioned that I was told it was $18.50 and it was brushed off by a worker saying the prices had updated, with no apology.
How could the prices have updated in the 30 mins it took for me to place the order and then to go pick up the pizza?
I'm not sure how often this happens but I really hope they don't use this tactic on every customer telling them one price and bumping it up once they come to get the pizza obviously knowing they're going to pay after having to drive to get it.
The pizza itself was well done perfectly browned and tasty but the sudden price hike (30 mins update, seriously?) as well as not putting prawns on the marinara (You guys never made a marinara or something?). Has unfortunately left a bitter taste on my mouth and I don't see myself returning again despite these guys being a 5 minute drive from me.
I don't write many reviews and I hate writing a bad review for a small business I really do, this isn't a large chain that essentially runs itself this is an obviously family owned store that's just trying to provide good pizza to its customers.
But the mistakes made are not acceptable from what seems to be a veteran pizza store. I'd have forgiven the prawns missing on the marinara but the price hike with no apology was gross.
If you intend on trying this place out I suggest you save your money and go to papa joe's pizza and pasta at springvale junction (where daniels donuts is) getting a much better pizza (way more cheese) at a much more appropriate cost ($13.50 for a family size pizza). They have amazing customer service and have never let me down.
Best takeaway pizza I've found in the Oakleigh/Clayton area, and the pork ribs are great too. The ingredients are high quality, especially the chicken which is leagues above your average pizza places. Prices are reasonable and delivery time is consistent. Only thing I don't recommend is the pasta and main dishes.
Ordered from here on Sunday night. Very generous amount of toppings and flavoursome pizzas! The garlic pizza was amazing!
The large pizzas would've benefitted from just a couple more minutes in the oven as the dough was a little bit underdone but this is a minor quibble. Thanks guys!:)
Ordered chicken pizza and mushroom and chicken pasta via Uber east! It was just amazing! Loved the food. The quality and quantity both top notch! Made my Sunday evening! Will definitely order again!
Keep up the good work guys!
Amazing pizza, we moved locally about a year ago and have been going to them since.
Local pizza shops like this are where you will get good pizza at a good price.
Staff are very friendly and always put their customer first, amazing customer service.
I've been going to benino's for years and it's one of the best pizza places I've been to. The owner is super friendly and he always gets the orders right. Awesome place
Most amazing pizza ever. I cooked wood fired pizza for 18yrs. There meat lovers pizza and added spices and herbs. I know pizza. THIS IS PIZZA. Boom.
I originally giving Benino's one star after a very ordinary first experience, however I subsequently tried them again and found the quality vastly better. Just to make sure I ordered a third time and again they were much better. Perhaps the first time was an off night.still a long way off being a 5 star, but a decent pizza, let down by still being expensive compared to other alternatives.
Delicious varieties of pizza. The plus point is the stuff they put on pizza, its way above normal stuffs. Good return on buck on these guys pizza.
Been going there since early 2000. Current family took over in 2008 and it damn near a perfect pizza every time. 1st choice for family pizza night every month. And the occasional can't-be-bothered-cooking-OMG need-pizza nights in between.
Great service, good pizza by a family run business.
