Bendigo Cinemas reviews
43It is a pity that this cinema has been closed for a long time. It's good that now the cinema is working again!
Enjoyable little cinema. Did well to enforce social distancing rules and maximum patron numbers.
Good screens and seats are spacious.
Does have an arcade attached as well which is a nice plus if you have the time.
First time here and to cinema in a long time. COVID conditions were "keep clear 2 seats in all directions", not easy to achieve when not controlled.
Lovely cinema space, however, staff can be a bit quick to move you on once the movie has finished though this is not a major issue. Lovely food available too.
So good to be able to go back and watch a movie! Not many new releases, but a few good oldies worth watching again and some others that were released just before the start of the pandemic.
Star Wars the Rise of Skywalker was a fantastic movie. It is great to part of the rewards club. Had enough points for afree medium popcorn and medium drink!
We saw Just Mercy today great movie but Cinema 5 was quite smelly and the seats were so worn and dirty! This Cinema needs gutting!
It's winter and while sitting for 2 hours it would be nice to have some heating instead of air conditioning.
Absolutely gotta catch a movie here, friendly staff, cheap prices, fresh popcorn and great drinks. The seats and floor are always clean and their screen is big and the speakers are very good. Saw John Wick 3 and had a great time.
Still a great place to watch movies.
Wish the food deals could be slightly altered or flexible like when we don’t want the lollies we cannot trade for an ice cream instead.
The games are still the same but I wish the prizes to trade tickets in for were better. They used to be amazing when I was younger. Shame.
This is a great venue with the latest films available to watch; an amusement arcade; the usual ice cream and snacks bar; and, for those who enjoy the finer things in life - Gold Class!
THE MOST POORLY MANAGED CINEMA EVER.
Oversold the movie.pre-booked and paid for tickets, to arrive and have no seats available.
Staff were very rude, dismissive and completely unhelpful.
Waited 20 minutes only to be shouted at that we should have arrived earlier and were even refused a refund.
. NEVER AGAIN.
The seats were comfortable, the staff and service was great but the only bad thing I would say is in the Gold glass the food was a little bit expensive but besides that it was fantastic.
Went to see the Lego movie part 2, found this really funny. The cinema was great, comfortable seats, clean & friendly staff. Great place to come too, may have to try out the Gold class.
Went with a friend I was denied on the first try of getting into the movie because I didn't have ID, but my friend had her school card so she was allowed in but we waited for my mum to drop of my student card with my date of birth and full name, but apparently it wasn't valid, because it "didn't look like me on the card" I am 15 and the card has a photo on it from my year 8 class when I was 13. So after still trying to get into the movie 20 mins later we had to leave and come back to the 9: 30 session where the other kind lady on the counter accepted the card.
Really disappointed.
There seems to be no air conditioning in cinema 7 but maybe it starts when the movie does. Lets hope.
Great movie.ticketing system could be better and allocated seating. Better seats like HOYTS have would have helped.
It's just too expensive
$14 for a 4yr old is just ridiculous
$15 for a small drink & popcorn combo is robbery
That's our one trip for the year
Great experience for the whole family. Comfy modern chairs, quality screen resolution, perfect temperature. Latest movies. Delicious popcorn and icecreams
All the latest movies but expensive tickets and we couldn't use any of the discounts we have as they aren't valid for Village, Bendigo.
Parking isn't great and we had to pay to park on the street. As usual, food and drinks were ridiculous prices.
The cinema was okay but it was a 40 degree day and it wasn't totally cool in there. My kids had trouble with the seats as they kept flipping up.
OK for something to do on a hot day as a tourist and the movie we saw was great.
