Bendigo Cinemas reviews
43The refurbished cinema no. 6 was terrific; plenty of elbow room for each seat and a table between each seat. Extremely comfortable.
I want to say a big thank you to Jack who was working Tues night. When I enquired about the length of the movie, he noticed that I was struggling with my walking & asked if I was ok & how he could help. I did a little shopping before the movie started & when he saw my bag was heavy, first he asked to check the bag as it's policy, & he offered to store my bag in a safe place during the movie. It's little things like this extra personal customer service that strongly influences whether I return to a place/shop etc. Conversely, earlier that day, a young lady at Shaver Shop rudely asked why I carried 2 pens? Like it was somehow her business. She absolutely lost a sale that day & probably future sales even though I know they offer the best prices for my razors. Good customer service trump's everything for me, so thank you Jack. I enjoyed the new Nolan film all that more because of your patience & genuine kindness. I'll be back soon.
There's nothing like the movie experience.
Always the few stairs to the many doors, and as you open the door your smacked in the face with the smell of pop corn and thoughts of choc tops.
Let's go to the movies more often. If we don't support them they will be just another memory of a great experience.
Great venue sound and comfortable lounge chairs.
The food was terrible. Cold and tasted like cardboard. Disappointed considering the cost.
Good service, especially from behind the counter. Seats ok, but a bit tight to the row in front for my liking.
Gold class food was not good. Pizza was microwaved. Baked brie was microwaved and served with salted rice crackers. The fried food was fine I guess
Great gold pass cinema, fantastic selection of meals and treats, and of course chic tops, very comfy seats
It's a great cinema, but the one thing that lets it down is that there's no ticket kiosk. The food and tickets are sold at the same counter. Not everyone wants to buy food, but this causes big, unnecessary queues. This was not the case prior to the refurbished several years ago.
Quite comfortable seating, the visual and auditory quality is sublime and very emmersive. The only this is the price of food is pretty high considering you don't get anything out of the ordinary but I suppose that is how cinemas make their income so it's worth the occasional splurge.
Went to Gold Class. The food was pretty good, if a little pricey for what it is. Service was fantastic. Ticket price is.well it is what it is. The seats are alright but could be better.
Had a fun arvo, staff were great, cinema was clean. Until we left, so sorry about the popcorn. Bathrooms clean & tidy.
Love Village. Member pricing is great for everyone! Just be sure to pick exactly where you want to sit as your assigned seat numbers.
It's a cinema. You pay to watch the latest mainstream films. They sell overpriced popcorn but not hot chocolate. Parking is barely long enough for an entire flick so don't dilly dally. Covid safe operations include separate entry and exit points. Don't worry, you can still cross the stream to play the video games.
Very Good Facilities however I'd like them to upgrade there sound system. It was pretty good but not as good as HOYTS. But i really had a good time, staff was very helpful and friendly. Will be going there again.
Great time so good would do again except for the fact we go kicked out for “breaking the law” in the fine establishment cant wait to go back and pour popcorn on manager
This place gets 5 stars just for the gold class experience I've had multiple times now. Access to the Gold lounge prior to the movie enables you to loosen up with a drink before the movie starts. Highly recommended the salt caramel milkshake it is the very definition of decadent.
Flat drinks, Luke warm overpriced microwaved $9 nachos. Can't mess up popcorn but I'm sure if they could they would. Terrible.
Godzilla vs King Kong is the single greatest film I've ever seen, a truly life changing experience and it happened at this cinema. 5 stars
Also, the arcade is cool.
We visited this cinemas and thought I’d bring the kids for a day out, we just had lunch and the kids couldn’t finish they’re chips in time so I said just bring it with us because we will miss the movie and the girl told us to chuck the chips out, my two boys were not happy as they wanted to finish off they’re small chips, in Brisbane where we’re from they are no where like this, found it a bit careless for a 4 & 5 year old. Uncomfortable seats for a heavily pregnant woman. On a positive note the boys enjoyed the movie.
Good clean theaters very pleasant staff but as with all theaters food and drink prices are quite high.
