Great spicy fried chicken. Food tastes amazing and spicy levels are really hot-take it seriously.
However, food is ridiculously expensive. 4 small finger sized tenders with a bunch of fries for $20. That's really costly considering the portion sizes are small. They would be my go-to fried chicken chain if they weren't so unnecessarily costly, hence, 3 stars.

The chicken was great, the vibe was great, but Michael was greater. Ask for Michael that speaks Mandarin and you're in for a great night!

First time here. Really good - everything - the food and the ambiance! Definitely recommended.

The only thing which made the review 4* instead of 5 was $21 for a Hot Chicken & Side and came without a dipping sauce. Another $2.50 for sauce. Sorry but that’s just cruel.
$6.50 to add a side of chips to a burger is quite dearer and that too will be without a dipping sauce. Again that’s the only disappointing thing!

Come for the food stay for the service.
Belles food is by far the best chicken you can get in Melbourne & VIC.
The flavours and quality of the food is next level, not to mention delish beers and cocktails.
The venue itself has excellent tunes that go well with the vibe of the place and the food.
As for the staff, very hard working, friendly and attentive, had a recent experience that was 99% perfect but they (Michael) went wayyyy above & beyond to add that extra 1% to make it perfect.
I used to go here or the one in Collingwood every few weeks but now live in the country so can’t get in as often.
If you’re looking for somewhere to try- do it and go to Belles

The amount of pain and discomfort I went through after eating some chicken tenders last night was unbelievable. I chose Hot, thinking I was a seasoned professional with heat. I was so wrong.

I write this review the next morning and you know what is currently going down. You caused me so much pain, tears, left me feeling physically ill and mentally.

10/10 will go through it all again.

One of my fave restaurants to get some extra spicy chicken is Belles. They don’t play around with their spices so be careful if you’re not good with any spiciness at all

Their wings on the Hot level always hit the spot for me Every bite is always packed full of flavors, with the spicy powder hitting the tongue, followed by the crunchy outer layer and then ended with the juiciness of the chicken meat inside

Not only wings, they also do tenders, drumsticks, sanwiches and decent options for sides too. Go check them out if you haven’t tried them!

Awsome american diner experience, crispy cayenne Pepper, sriracha coated with butter milk juicy chicken.dont miss out on the pickled veggies and mc n cheese as perfect sides. Challenge the taste buds.u wont be disappointed!

You know what, I got exactly what I deserved here. Asked for very hot chicken, mate I was with said I shouldn't, waitress said I shouldn't. I wanted to. I didn't. I went for hot instead. Still burned. Is still burning, will burn for a while. I got cocky. I was taught a valuable lesson that day. Amazing chicken, will return to conquer.

I got introduced to Belles around 2 months ago, and since then i have had the Hot Chicken Tenders with fries, probably around 15 times.thats almost twice a week. Its highly addictive and very very tasty. Highly recommend having with Beers

Ordered the 3x drumsticks and chips + a chicken burger and an Arnold Palmer as the drink. The atmosphere was great, it really captured the American vibe that we don't see much in Australia. However the experience was let down by the quality of the food and drink. The chicken had an acceptable texture that was decent though nothing to rave about. The batter was overly salty whilst the chicken itself lacked flavour, it was very imbalanced. On the other hand the drink was way overly sweet, an Arnold Palmer is a mix of iced tea and lemonade. I tasted no lemonade and was rather like iced tea with extra syrup. Unfortunately I won't come back here

This place isn't for the weak. You want a spicy experience that will last for days after you've eaten here? Here's your place. Love the food, and love the service. First time? Don't get beyond medium heat, and get the mac and cheese!

Pretty basic red hot chilly pepper chicken. It's just diner food done very well! Albeit at premium price!

You can’t go wrong with Belles; it’s literally the best fried chicken sandwich in town! We each got a chicken sambo and split a pitcher of the Arnaldo. Went with the ‘hot’ and also had a side of ranch sauce, and also tried out a glass of the Das Juice Red. It was all perfect.

Really it here the food was fresh and really tasty the waiting were friendly and helpful.
Their chicken is pretty delicious and cannot wait to go back there!
