Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park

Cleanest caravan park I’ve ever stayed in. Staff would have to be the friendliest and most helpful. Location walking distance to town.

We stayed in a lake view villa and it was everything we were hoping for. Clean and well laid out, very comfortable. Site is at a great location, near enough to town for a gentle walk while being far enough out for a quiet time away. Really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay here again.

Beautiful setting and professional service. I stayed last week with my 2 small dogs for a couple of nights at unpowered site. It was not peak season and there is plenty of room and space to share and enjoy. It is well maintained and good amenities all around. The lake is gorgeous especially around sunset. I painted it! If I ever come this way, I am sure to stay again.

Excellent caravan park in a great location. Staff were friendly. The cabin we stayed in was clean and tidy and very warm.

Our family stayed at Lake Sambell on a powered van site. I cannot fault the friendliness and welcoming nature of all the staff. The amenities were clean as a whistle and nothing was out of place. We would definitely rate this park 10/10 and would highly recommend. We will return again!

We had a very pleasant stay in Beechworth, the staff at the caravan park were very kind and helpful, and we were really impressed with the service provided to show us to our caravan site and then the amazing advice in regard to positioning the van on the site. The bathroom facilities were spotless and the location was fantastic - it was our first time in Beechworth and we will definitely be making a return trip.

Great little park next to a lake, lots of playgrounds around the lake for kids, walking trails for families close to shops, a great experience

This is THE best caravan park in Australia! Located a very easy walk into beautiful Beechworth and all it offers. The staff are really friendly and help with getting you setup on your sight. They have firepits and wood is delivered as you need it. Toilets and other facilities are very clean. We like to stay on the on powered side, water is readily available. Thanks Sambell caravan park!

Omg they we very accomadating friendly nothing was a bother from front desk to amenity clean staff great just a little concerned about the slippery floors toots and laundry fan or rubber matts needed

3 nights in a cabin at this quality park enhanced our touring experience. Ideally situated close to town & the Murray to Mountains Rail trail. Totally recommend to cyclists or anyone.

Really nice park with concrete slabs on sites friendly staff who actually guide you into your site perfectly I didn’t even look at my mirrors while the guy was giving me directions. Beechworth is a great town with a lot of history and plenty to do.

Lovely. I requested a nice quiet site and was accommodated in a very private spot.the grounds are immaculate and the creek is a lovely bonus.one last thing, bathrooms are immaculately clean

Helpful staff, plentiful shade, excellent clean amenities, plentiful chirping birds, running creek, bush walk & lake walk, koala calling, great scenery. Great place to stay.

Stayed last week for 4 nights for the first time at Sambell the staff were helpful, the grounds and amenities were clean. In general it was a great park. The walks and bike riding provided endless opportunities as well as being able to walk into town. Would recommend this park.

Beautiful Beechworth - Lake Sambell Caravan Park was an awesome location, close to town, clean facilities, super friendly staff and an overall great feel about it. We cant wait to visit again.

First time visiting this park last weekend and I have to say this is the best Caravan Park I've ever stayed at! Stayed on "The Hill" for three nights with the family and waking up to the view of the lake was spectacular. The lay out of the park is great, grounds are well maintained, amenities are spotless (even the port-a-loo's!), and staff very friendly. We booked our next stay before we left!

Very well run park. Friendly staff who are all very welcoming. Clean, great location and reasonably priced.

Spotlessly clean comfortable cabin. Weather wasn’t kind to us so we weren’t able to try out all of the facilities available such as the BBQs and mini golf.
Lovely views onto the lake.
