Coffee was burnt and milk tasted off. Replacement provided after complaints was no better. Walked away in disgust
Very disappointed in losing the one of the best local bakeries to the over priced and avarage quality Beechworth Bakery.
Wife purchase a donut which is now. 70c more than the previous owner (which were delicious) and now has jam filling used in cake etc and not real jam.
I might be picky but having managed bakeries for close to 15 yrs quality before profit will bring customers back.
But judge for yourself.
Busy place and was expecting great food but was disappointed.
They missed one of our orders which spoiled the entire breakfast experience. After 20 mins of serving everyone else it was served but then they served the wrong dish. Anyway they gave a few free pastries and coupons as a good gesture which is appreciated. So i would still say the service standard is good.
Food was just ok, nothing worth a revisit. Tried the Ned Kelly pies as well and they tasted just like any supermarket frozen pies.
