A one word response to my question without any follow-up questions seemed at odds with the customer service I have received in the past. If the young guy had used appropriate questioning techniques, he may been able to order in the Lifx product I was looking for and actually made a sale. (Yes the Lifx product was available, just not on your shelves. I had to find this out myself).

Tried to buy 25w e14 globe for oven but none in stock.
Said to come back at the end of the month.

We bought a outdoor fan online for our new pergola, unfortunately it didn’t want to work after our electrician tried to install it.
Mick (from Narre Warren store) happily exchanged it for us for a more suitable one and even had their Beacon Lighting electrician install it for us at no extra cost.
Fantastic service. I definitely recommend Beacon Lighting and will be a life long customer for all our lighting needs.

Fabulous service. I ordered a chandelier on line and it was delivered in a couple of days even though it was Christmas/New Year. When i went to get it installed their were some parts missing which should have been in the box. I called the Fountain Gate store and the manager tracked down a replacement (despite their being none in any stores in Melbourne) and got it delivered within a couple of hours via courier and offered for someone to come and help me attach the parts if i wanted. So nice to see people going the extra mile for something and providing great customer service. Thanks Mick I really appreciated it.

Great range of ceiling fans, a pity about the terrible service I received. I was asking about control options for the fans and the assistant was really defensive and abrupt. I was doing some research for our extensive renovations we are about to begin, I will not be back.

I always get a lot of help in the Berwick store. Some good ideas and lots of choices. Open an account and you never have to keep a receipt for proof of purchase they keep all the details for you and your warranty.

Absolutely massive range of lights across all budgets. Staff are great and super helpful. I was looking for a very specific transformer to fix an existing ceiling light. The lovely lady behind the desk knew exactly what I needed.

My partner had a great experience with staff at beacon lighting today. Staff were genuine, friendly and went over and above to help. Definitely recommend.

We bought a light with our own money but they refused to give our cash back. Had to be on a gift card. When we purchased something with the card and changed our mind they still wouldn’t give our money back. Store is a rip off. Items and double and triple that of every other store. Don’t recommend ever going there.
