Beach House Rentals

We just enjoyed a 3 night family beach break at the stunning property on Canterbury Jetty Road in Rye! Such gorgeous details thought the modern and stylish property and everything that we needed was included in the spacious home along with the amazing pool and heated spa and games room! The attention to detail is so luxe as the home is curated with such beautiful beach style & vibes. The staff at Beach House Rentals were so lovely, professional and friendly to deal with and booking online was so easy & convenient. Our family can’t speak highly enough about the property and the booking experience and the gift bag on arrival was such a lovely treat. Thank you so much & we can’t wait to come back!

Lady Nelson was the most superb house to stay in! The detail of this beautiful home is incredible:) From the full gourmet kitchen with EVERYTHING you’d ever need, to the stunning outdoor pool and spa with outdoor kitchen. We had the most perfect weekend and can’t wait to return!

I booked a property in Sorrento for 10 guests, and yesterday received an email (2 weeks out from our stay) stating that the owner of the property had cancelled my booking with no explanation as to why. I have since left a voicemail and sent an email requesting an explanation and call back, and still have not received either of these. Whichever property I (hopefully) find to stay in, I will first be checking with Stayz that it is not managed by Beach House Rentals.

Almost two weeks have gone by and we still have not got our bond back.
Glen you did not answer my question!
If your reason for keeping our bond is genuine why would you agree to return it if we took our reviews down?

Had nothing but a positive experience with BHR. Property was clean, tidy and well maintained. Management was very easy to deal with and extremely welcoming. We couldn't fault the property, it was immaculate. Thank you again to BHR we will definitely be returning in future!

For a dirty BBQ, candle wax on floor (we never even had candles) and crumbs in oven that was filthy to begin with our bond of $1500 has not been returned.then even through I advised the lady when I picked up keys that we may have guests one night (which she said that was completely fine to advice names for covid) we have had our credit card debited an additional $400. After days trying resolve this nicely GLEN has hung up on me, send me nasty emails, has said she has called the police if we come to her office to try resolve this, refused an further communication, called me a crazy person, lied, exaggerated and said we were filthy (which is NOT true.i am very clean) and still we have no refund! After reading her reviews it seems this is a regular practice of Glens and she finds ANYTHING to not return bond.
She is a THIEF and I will not stop until you do the right thing!
It is not even about the money any more but principle.
PLEASE IF THE OWNERS READ THIS PLEASE RESPOND AS YOU NEED TO KNOW THE TRUTH OF THE SITUATION AND THIS NEEDS TO BE ADRESSED.

I have rented with Beach House Rental many times in the past and the latest experience from the last school holidays was excellent. Glen and Jo keep up the fabulous work.

UPDATE:
After an absolutely horrible week with dealing every day with Glen trying to get my bond back and the additional $400 that GLEN helped herself to my credit card. My friend who originally booked the accommodation but couldn't make it because she was from NSW called her to try and sort this out.
After my friend spoke to Glen she said GLEN basically said if I take down my previous review she will give my bond back! COMPLETE BRIBERY!
Anyway I thought ok ill do it because I just had enough of all this but would like to see my money first as I have no trust in GLEN at all.
I attached my email for you to all see what she wrote!
I have now got legal advice and now will be contacting the relevant people to try and get my bond back. I have spent hours lodging details to the bank also to try retrieve through them. I find it so hard to understand how some one could do this for a dirty BBQ, crumbs in the oven and wax on the floor. Like I said in my previous review there were NO cleaning sponges or cloths to clean anything with I actually used my own face washer to wipe the benches down.
The whole wax thing I have repeatedly told her we had NO candles or even matches.it was not us.
A dirty BBQ and oven does not justify keeping a $1500 bond.
In total we paid $1200 for 3 nights plus $1500 plus $400 taken out of our account for friends staying one night (which i was honest about)
So in total its costed me $3100!
how is that right GLEN?
If your reasons for keeping the bond where genuine why would you then agree to give it back if I took my review down?

18 Lucien Road was the perfect place to stay for Christmas. So much room in the house as we didn't have much good weather the areas in the house fit us all comfortably. Everything you need in the house is provided and location is very central to surrounding attractions and shopping areas. Beach house rentals were great to deal with, very responsive and accomodating. We will be back.

Very disappointed with the service of beach house rentals, especially Greg. I booked a house for my friends and I for it to get cancelled by Beach House Rentals. On the listing there was no information regarding the reason that they decided to cancel my booking.
I would like to share Greg’s response to my email asking when the money will come back into my account:

WE REFUNDED IMMEDIATELY.

I DO NOT KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE BACK IN YOUR ACCOUNT.

NO FURTHER CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE ENTERED INTO

I do not recommend using Beach House Rentals for booking you’re stay.

Glen and her team at BHR were wonderful to deal with. WE stayed at 11 Skelton Place in Sorrento, we were 8 adults and 3 toddlers, we loved the location, right opposite the shore front and only a short walk to the main street. The kids loved playing on their bikes on the lawn. We loved the open plan kitchen and lounge layout which included a nice big table which we enjoyed sitting round for dinner and a game of cards. We spent most of the weekend indoors as it was cold but it would be a great place to enjoy in summer also. Very relaxing, thank you!

29 John Bertram Drive was a great house for 8 (3 families) - very homely, modern enough without being sterile. Lovely dunes and bush outlook. Easy walk to front and back beaches and store. A few more dishwasher tablets were all that was lacking! Would return.

Told me the booking was confirmed- then cancelled after taking the whole booking amount of over 1600 dollars with no explanation given. Had to put plans on hold while awaiting OUR money back that was wrongly taken. Disgraceful. Would not recommend to anyone.

We have used Glen and the team at Beach House rentals to manage our property for some years now and although nothing is ever perfect, Glen has always maintained the utmost honesty and integrity in our dealings with her. It is extremely comforting to know that you have someone looking after your property as if it were her own, and the feedback from the tenants both with the property and with Glen are always very positive. Well done Glen!

Perfect size for a weekend get away! Super clean!
huge bathroom and shower, as well as heating to keep warm!
and pink fish had a bbq which was perfect since all the restaurants were booked out!
