Bayswater Hotel

We’re regulars at this restaurant. The food is always amazing, the staff are always lovely, and the atmosphere is always great. Has both indoor and outdoor seating, and a great indoor playground. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Disappointing in the lack of communication from staff members causing unnecessary conflict with their patrons.
My suggestion is to introduce a failsafe way to alert the patrons that final orders have been called and that the venue would be closing at a certain time and not have security guard aggressively walk up to the pool table and start to pocket the balls with his hands to end a civil game of pool.

Everyone's was pleased with the food and service. Warm friendly atmosphere with lots of variety of menus items. Very easy to order from table and enjoy our meals very yummy happy with everything overall

Not busy while we were there. Both chicken dishes were a little dry and why can't you order and pay for a meal and drink at the same time?

Great meals in the bar and super reasonably priced. Staff are friendly. Much better than some of the other pubs around in relation to food.

Great food! Parma was delicious. Food was on our table quickly and it was well priced. We will be returning!

Food is decent usually if not a little bit pricey. Is mainly a pokies venue of course. There is a small children's play area and wednesday night is Trivia

My favourite pub by far. It is always a pleasure treating my dad to lunch here. The staff are amazing, they really look after my Dad and I. The food and menu is awesome and affordable. Please dont change xx (the seniors menu is amazing and so respectful to their sizing+pricing!)

Wow ppls, you have to try the public bar counter meals it's a must try! What great value and for $20 I got a meal that filled me up and it was that big I couldn't finish it.so yummy. Thank you to the bar staff and Peter the public bar manager for the best beer tap in the south East of Melbourne!

Typical ALH venue with pokies, bistro and sports bar.

Came here to check out the sports bar and happy to find a pinball so I was happy!

Sports bar meals are great value.

Staff behind the bar were friendly.

This place used to be ok but it's now somewhere to avoid.
Some of the staff are just plain rude, the main course is nice but the prices have gone through the roof and the portions of chips & salad have gotten smaller.
If you previously enjoyed a complimentary bread roll, too bad. They're now gone. You even have to ask for extra serviettes!
Finally, if your looking for anything remotely quiet this place isn't for you on a Friday night. The place is overrun with screaming kids running around unchecked.

Went here with about 20 people of which two were seniors.two babies and a toddler. The staff were amazing and accommodating. They made the meal a pleasure because of there attentive service and generally very good skills. To top it off the food was excellent, as was the seniors meals and the toddlers meal. This place gets a highly recommended on my experience

I had the Fettuccine Carbonara. It was beautiful. Big serve. Only negative was having to order through the QR code.

Great pub atmosphere and the bar staff worked well together, offering great service to customers. We will definitely back for a drink and meal again.

Good place to either eat, drink, gaming and Tab. Was a bad choice to go to 20 years ago. Today it is nothing like the former Bayswater Hotel. Well Covid has changed not only Bayswater but also most Local pubs in Knox. No people are going to the pubs like before. I have been a few times and felt like I was in a position to get out and try somewhere else, but it's not worth it, they are all the same. Hopefully they will get back to normal but I can't see it for a long time. If ever very Sad.

Perfect balance between to much and to little items on the table actually has a menu unlike Knox club food is awesome quality staff unbelievably well trained and respectful

Terrible service stuffed up all our orders 12 of us.then when I complain after a staff member was rude I got thrown out and told not to come back.refused to refund for food I never got. Made my ASD grandson have to carry his Parma in his hands cause we were told to leave. None of us will ever go back The waitress who cause all this with out telling the VenueHe just accuse manager Ryan what she said first. Horrble place to dine. Would never recommend the dump to anyone.

Returned here after approx 4 years. Much improved. Quick service, steak perfectly cooked, food piping hot all ordered from our phones at the table. Clean and cosy venue. Evident covid strategies in place. Calamari entree & sticky date pudding were both amazing.
