Bayside Centre reviews
65The 'security' staff at Bayside are some of the most unprofessional, rude and unhelpful people I have ever met.
Needs some work on accessibility for the disabled and security always seem to be chasing after someone for shoplifting. All that aside though theres a pretty good range of stores and cafes inside.
Hate this shopping centre all ways junkies and little eshay kids running around I do not feel safe at all when I walk around bayside I prefer karingal hub as it’s a much nicer shopping center and I feel comfortable to walk around plus bayside charges for parking when karingal doesn’t just shows how desperate bayside is for money lmao
Centre Management has a lot to answer for regarding access issues for disabled customers. I walked around for an hour attempting to locate an elevator to access Target on level one. No signs indicated a detour nor was there any information concerning any closed off areas? I phoned Centre Management to lodge a formal complaint only to be given an incorrect number by security? I phoned the number for Centre Management again only to be fobbed off by the same incompetent security guard! Stage 3 Lung Cancer doesn't descriminate nor should the staff at Bayside. I'm not impressed by their lack of compassion & absolute ignorance shown towards the elderly & disabled! Contacting the office of *Victorian State Disability Plan* next as they're in breach of the Disabilities Act!
Food court does not accommodate for disability people in a wheelchair, we were on the ground floor food court. I was told to take my client up to level 3. Not acceptable
For the suburb that it is in its actually quite a good little shopping centre with all that you need including a cinema
“Customer service representatives” were so rude, couldn’t have been more cold if they tried. No empathy, no explanation absolutely nothing.
Karen clean very nice and clean. Also, She is very kind and the best ever seen in the shopping center.
The parking fees are a joke, this is Frankston, not Chadstone. Simply park in one of the back streets (1hr or 2hr) and just walk across.
It has a good variety of shops but careful if you go for late night shopping, many buisness's decide to close early if it's quiet without warning. You'd be better off going to southland for more variety and a better shopping experience. But it does the job.
The hand sanitisers at the entrances to the centre are empty. Is there nobody keeping an eye on that? How are we ever going to come out of lockdown with this sloppy attitude. I won’t go shopping there again. Too risky
I had the pleasure of going through this zoo, I got a first class tour to see all the meth heads and the vintage used needles around the joint. Toilets were dirty and absolutely destroyed.
The shops inside were nice at least.
Bayside has been my preferred shopping center all my life. It has almost everything you could need. A lot of stores in the center have been shut lately because of Covid but all of the food stores are open till late & some of the shoe/clothing stores are also still open.
They are not limiting couples going thru centre with stage 4 they need limit couples shopping to one person
Easy walk to from home, station & near buses & has everything I need, Groceries & other supplies.
It has a good range of shops. There are 2 food courts with average options. But it could be pretty crowded and according to my experience it is pretty common to run into edgy people (which I haven't experienced in other southeastern shopping centres).
Not a bad place here, love the food court, but at the rooftop car park the noise is just painful
It great shopping centre, I love Frankston, the shops look easy on the eye. The foods court very lay back and chill, it has everything at the shopping centre:)
Why do they CHARGE for parking!? The owner, Vicinity Centre, also owns The Glen where parking is free. Southland, Chadstone and Eastland, just to name a few shopping centres also don't charge for parking. Plus, why charge now when most of the shops are closed? ! Wake up locals, don't shop here
Great range of shops, unfortunately lately most of the shops have been disappearing. Wish they would clean up the station that's so close to the shopping centre though as there's always scumbags hanging around
