It has a very convenient sitting area but isn't good for any other food apart from seafood. My partner ordered king George premium fish and chips and got a really small portion for the price. I got carbonara which was too salty and just boiled pasta which raw beacon on top. I was a waste of money for us.

The service was very poor, the food, tasteless. Seafood platter, I will quote what the manager said “ Not always the seafood is going to be fresh”. That is what he said when we complaint about our meals were not fresh, no flavour. And oily.

Had the seafood platter, everything tasted like water, obviously frozen food, literally the worst platter I've had for 150 bucks, we leftthe whole thing on the table, avoid this place! Trust me

Delicious food with reasonable prices, very nice customer service and overall a great restaurant. 10/10

Love stopping here to enjoy the food and drinks, good seafood, never had a bad dish here, awesome selection of food to choose to enjoy, definitely recommend stopping here.

I went there twice in two days as the food was so good! Their Nachos and Mussels were sensational. Friendly service, reasonable prices and highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back!

Came about a week ago for Oysters. We ended having those and a sea food platter. Sat in the Bar where we got entertained all evening. Pricy but well worth it.will definitely come back. Staff were top notch!

The best experience! The staffs are very nice specially the short girl who gave us the best service. Food was absolutely delicious, we will be coming back again!

The service was excellent but the food was of really poor quality and does not even deserve 1 star.

Service was unhelpful- asking for a plate of vegetables we were instructed to weave our way through a vast menu. After getting our meal the people next to us had a plate of vegetables as a side dish! Exactly what we wanted! But we had to find it in a menu in order to get it! We asked if they did pancakes- the same person told us that they did and directed us to order, where they told us it was not available after midday. The seafood platter was really good and so were the milkshakes!

After a 2 month sebatical after the restaurants last stuff up we thought we'd dip our toe in the water and try them again what a mistake asked for steak well done if it had been much rarer I would have had to feed it hay! The eggs were missing from the mixed grill the chicken was barely cooked. The meal was barely above room temperature. My wife had a seafood platter that could only be described as disgusting the fish was dry the calamari was barely even flash fried they were essentially raw. It's such a shame that a restaurant that used to be so good is now so poor doyourselves a favour and give this place a wide birth and spend your money elsewhere.

Really poor experience they advertise on their Facebook page that they are open Christmas Day even post stuff on Christmas morning. Thought I'd surprise the missus with a breakfast delivery, but no they aren't open not answering the phone. How hard us it if your running a business to chanyour open times on your ordering websites rather than stuffing people up this is second time I've been caught will be purchasing elsewhere from now on which is a pity as the food used to be pretty good.

The service was great. The food was great. The best part was that my steak was perfectly cooked rare.

Bayview Bar & Grill will always be my favourite spot of dining! Wonderful location, delicious food, drinks and friendly staff. Not much more to ask for!

Terrible poor service and poor quality food. Frozen seafood when at the waters edge, chewy weird tasting steak.
Don’t go! Save yourself and your money…. Seriously I’m a chef whom has worked in some of Australia’s top restaurants- this was just a quick meal while away for work! Goto the local pub!

Yummy and affordable fresh seafood experience:) the seafood platter for 2 was such a blessing that it offered all the varying items that my husband and I's were craving fr in seafood that night, it had 2 beer battered flathead, 2 grilled prawn skewers, 2 freshly shucked oysters, delicious mussels in stew, chips n salad. Super blessed, it was just right around the corner of Novotel:)

Very disappointing food indeed, we figured on the front at Geelong the food would have to be a certain standard…. We were wrong
I had the Halloumi burger, I should have known when I saw the almost fluorescent yellow chips at a table nearby… halloumi almost nonexistent in the burger… would never, ever recommend this venue…

Slow service made a lame excuse. Taken about an hour to get food. The nachos Guacamole tasted terrible "off". Also Bruschetta topping does not belong on nachos. Seafood platter was warm at best and prawns only cooked on one side.
Definitely do not recommend anyone to go.

Hi decided to try a different venue for breakfast as I saw a plate being served to someone else and it was of considerable size but not sure if that was a custom order over all the staff a mega rude and place is dusty and dirty. 68s dollars spent and the crossaint was the winner for my son. #Geelong #grill #Cafe #tomekreviews
