I have been coming here since it opened in the early 00s they are friendly and offer genuine Vietnamese food. Their jasmine tea is lovely

Wasn't the best dining experience that I imagined. The dining area feels cheap, and is completely different to the pictures you would see inside the restaurant on the internet. There is no toilets within the restaurant, and the only waiter in the restaurant advised us to go to the public toilets out on the street.

We ordered multiple dishes. None of them came out at the same time, which meant that others finished there meal before others got there's.

The chicken curry laksa was way too spicy to enjoy. The waiter should have informed us that it is way too spicy before ordering. I found the chicken in my laksa to be dry. Also, there was no coconut in the laksa.

The beef pho was average. We found the meat to be long and stringy.

Table water was only given when asked, and there wasn't enough for such a large crowd.

Overall, I definitely won't be going back, and I wouldn't recommend anyone going to Bay City Noodles & Cafe.

I first went here after coming back from Vietnam, I was craving some more traditional pho and I have to say this place didn't disappoint. Beautiful food that makes you feel good on the inside. Lovely service and a nice atmosphere. I have been back on many occasions and tried the beef pho, wonton soup and pork rice paper rice paper rolls and all are delicuous. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the size of the bowls.
Hands down my favourite Vietnamese restaurant!

Best pho and rice paper rolls I’ve ever had hands down. Service is super friendly. Prices are very reasonable for how much you get and the quality of the food.

Would recommend over any other Vietnamese place in Geelong.

As I am a vegetarian, I ordered a vegetarian meal and found a piece of chicken in it.
Never going back to this place

Awesome noodles, first time trying a pho and it was great. Place is quite bland and cold so bring a jacket!

Amazing place, I had the pork and shrimp rolls with a Pho Bo and it was the best that I have had outside of Vietnam. Will definitely be back again!

Best pho in Geelong. Friendly staff. Good prices & service. Can't comment on any other dishes as I've not tried anything else despite visiting upwards of 50 times.

All I can say is do not order the chicken pho if you don't want crippling salmonella for 3 days. Not impressed.

Changed hands a while ago I think. The old hard working man is never around. Vegetarian rice paper rolls consist of Tofu, lettuce and a couple of noodles. No vegetables no nothing. Tried other hot meals, not the same anymore. Shame, it was really good food. I won't go back. Tried the times without the old boy. 0/3. No good

I come here at least 3 time a week for lunch because it's the best pho in Geelong (and I've tried them all). Service is always swift and friendly.
