Wow.surprised by the taste of the broth.it was so good.

The noodle was good.

IMO, increase your price and provide a bit more beef, and it would be 5 star from me.

My wife and I had a great meal here prior to boarding Tassy ferry - good clean establishment friendly staff and delicious fresh food. Highly recommend it!

They have several types of noodles. Soup tastes good. Iced Vietnamese coffee can choose less ice and less sweet is great. Provide two small bowls for children before I make the request proofs they're serving by heart.

Pho noodle and Hue chilli beef noodle was tasty. Our family enjoyed it Small place and clean. Will come back to try other dishes

This is Geelong's best Pho!
It transported me directly to Vietnam. Plenty of fresh herbs to accompany. I have been coming here for many years and tried the newer "flasher" Vietnamese restaurants. BUT nothing comes close to the almighty Bay City Noodles. Local family owned and operated authentic Vietnamese in Geelong, look no further! Generous portions, awesome food at an affordable price. I recommend the rare beef pho and also the chilli and lemongrass beef with rice

Very nice pho and reasonable price. Was very impressed with their service. We were 6 and some went to restroom. The owner came and said foods are ready but she could wait for them to come back. Eventually we all got hot and fresh dishes served at once. Only had this service in fine dining resturant. Didn't expect this.

Most authentic Vietnamese pho around in Geelong. Others’ are usually too sweet to cater to local taste. This has cut chilli too. Love it.

My wife went into store and ordered takeaway. We drove home with it which happens to be 30min away. When we arrived home we were missing the rare beef from our Pho, so we called up to tell them and to my surprise they actually drove 30-40 min just to get us the missing beef.
This is amazing service yes they made a mistake but the way they fixed it was awesome.
The food was also really good too.
Thanks we will definitely be back.

Tried this place for lunch for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. As with most low cost Asian restaurants, the decor wasn't flash but it was functional. The menu isn't substantial but the food that delivered which, let's face, it, is the key, was very good. Had the Pho Beef and when the appropriate spices were added, it was a very tasty dish served in a massive bowl - so no fears of going hungry! And at $12, very good value for money. Will definitely be back.

After moving to Geelong a few years ago I was in mourning the lack of access to vietnamese cuisine, believing that Geelong had no restaurants.until discovering Bay City over summer. Walking past I imagine many would be discouraged by the poor decor, however, I can compliment the food and service highly. No longer do I need to drive to Melbourne and visit Barkly Street Footscray or Victoria Street Richmond. My home town has a decent pho! Ignore the decor and imagine you're stepping into a Saigon shop - delicious food with friendly service.
