First visit here and it definitely won't be my last. The food was amazing and the staff were fantastic

Recommend this Italian restaurant in Port Melbourne. Good selection of dishes, decent drinks and dessert menu. All dishes were ordered were delicious and good portion sizes. Restaurant was popular and most tables were occupied. Staff were friendly but could have been more attentive, had trouble catching their attention.

Great price for some quick pasta, they match the food to the atmosphere. Staff are well trained and lovely.

Bay 101 in Port Melbourne exceeded our expectations in every way! As a family of four, we had a fantastic dining experience at this wonderful restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the service provided by our waiter, Giuliano, was impeccable.

We started off by ordering the Napoletana pizza and the meat lovers pizza, both of which were cooked to perfection. The crust was thin and crispy, while the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The highlight of our meal was definitely the lasagne. It was rich, hearty, and simply mouthwatering. We also tried the pappardelle duck ragu, which was served piping hot and bursting with delicious flavors.

What impressed us the most was the speed at which our food was served. Despite the restaurant being busy, our dishes arrived promptly, allowing us to enjoy our meal without any unnecessary wait time. The attentive and friendly staff made us feel welcomed and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout the evening.

Overall, our dining experience at Bay 101 was exceptional. The combination of delicious food, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere made it a memorable evening for our family. If you like big portions then this is the place, decent food and the service is top draw, would just like to see more choice on the menu but overall I would definitely visit again.

The pizza is amazing! The best crust I have ever had! Also very impressed by the Lamb ragu rigatoni, highly recommend it!

Really genuine Italian dinner and menu. Thoroughly enjoyed the dishes they had on offer and there’s plenty left to try another time

Ordered:

• Bruschetta - fresh tomato and basil salad sitting on a good size of white sourdough bread

• Rigatoni Alla Norma - huge chunks of mozzarella and eggplant. Ask for chilli oil, really adds to the flavour

• Traditional Lasagna - probably the highlight of the dinner. Delicious beef ragu spread throughout the sheets! Recommend highly.

The portion sizes of our meals were very refreshing to see. Good value for money!

We stopped for a late lunch after our morning excursion. We shared a Vegetarian Pizza that was very good.

Delicious food. For me, Parmigiana is one of the best in town. Good interior and seating arrangements. Do visit if you are at Port Melbourne.

Highly recommend this quaint authentic Italian restaurant. We ordered take out, and the wood fired pizza was delicious as was the fettuccini bolognese and garden salad. Next time we will dine in as the place looked very cosy inviting.

Great food (minestrone + gnocchi in creamy mushroom sauce) served by very friendly staff. It's in a fantastic location for having dinner before catching the overnight Spirit of Tasmania. Parking just across the road and only 3mins from the ferry terminal. Highly recommend!

The coffee is great here, the baristas are wonderful and genuinely friendly. The food us delicious. I go here during the week however there is an older woman in there on sundays who is a bit off putting though, she is very loud and has a truly agressive way of speaking with the staff in front of customers, she always gets our coffee order wrong even though it is the same every time. We will not go in if she is there. Shame as its one of our good local places.

Freshly cooked as you wait. Try get in early on peak times. This place can get busy. A pleasant cafe experience. Well priced, 5 star atmosphere at a price you can afford. More casual cafe feel.
Great coffee. I had a cheese & tomato toastie just the way I like it. (Tomato not too hot - not too cold) under $10.
