Bar Bianco

Not terrible, but perhaps not worth the money I've spent.

The Valentine's Day set menu looked good on paper, however it didn't translate in the flavours of their food.the octopus and the duck breast were chewy.
The pasta of the ravioli was too thick.
And in the end, 1 dessert shared between 2?

The staff was very polite and responsive.
What was missing was the attention to details, perhaps because they were quite busy.

The venue is gorgeous.

What a great spot. Four of us had lunch there on Friday. The service, food and atmosphere here was great.
The entree's we had Calamari, and the Burrata with Broad Bean and mint were amazing.
The Pappardelle ragu main course was fabulous, and the Gnocci was perfectly cooked. Drinks are average price and the options are many.
No hesitation in giving Bar Bianco 5 stars. Give it a try.

Service, food, cocktails. Complete package! Delight from start to finish. Everything was tasty and made with love. Would recommend to anyone!

I walk past this gem all the time; just wish I’d ventured here sooner! Charming and intimate - excellent service and really, really good food. Spanner crab linguine a highlight for me!

Loved the atmosphere of the place! Only recommendation was to give two slices of bread with the scrambled eggs, because I was a looking for a meal to keep me going. Tasted delicious though

One of the best European style bars in Melbourne. Great wines on offer accompanied with excellent food.

So good to find a local Italian restaurant that provides authentic Italian meals! As we sat down, they gave us marinated olives - soo yum! We ordered the Calamari Fritti with young garlic, chilli and parsley (very unique flavours, a favourite of the night), slow cooked lamb ragu pappardelle (love the balance of this dish and don't smell like 'lamb' at all - which is nice) and spanner crab linguine which we love. The kingfish crudo was a bit odd in taste. The decor and ambience is warm and welcoming, great to come in to in a cold winter evening. Service was really great (except two of the waitresses keep wanting to take away our plate, before we finish - maybe they're being over attentive?) Oh, as I don't drink, they have great selection of non-alcoholic beverage, I asked for a non-alc Negroni (not in the menu). Overall, we will definitely come back again and again.:)

I adore this restaurant for its delicious and fresh food, it’s comprehensive wine list and fun and elegant atmosphere. The service is also flawless.

One word describes our experience at Bar Bianco - disappointing. The cocktails were watery and poorly executed. The entrees were terrible (the arancini felt like a deep fried ball from Coles). Mains were underwhelming. Service average. And really overpriced for the quality. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I had such a good time at Bar Bianco! The vibes were so cool and the food was amazing. I loved the shared meat platter and the fish of the day (Barramundi) was cooked perfectly. But the real winner for me was the spanner crab bucatini - it was seriously delicious! If you're a seafood and pasta fan, you gotta try it. Overall, Bar Bianco is a great spot for a fun night out with delicious food. Highly recommend!

Intimate atmosphere, delicious food and friendly service

Fabulous lunch with friends from interstate. The menu is traditional Italian dishes with a twist. We loved every dish. Our friends were very impressed - "best meal they've had in a LONG time". Good wine list as well. Especially great that we could linger a little longer as they stay open all afternoon and not feel pressured to leave after 2 hours like so many other restaurants post COVID. The service was friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

Magical. The King Fish Collar was like nothing we had ever contemplated let alone eaten, and truly sublime. The Mulloway main course also spectacular.

Definitely coming back, wine and food was epic! An opulent experience with a high attention to detail. Staff very obviously care about their work.
