What a great place I had been living in Elsternwick area for the past 30 years and moved away about 14 years came back visiting friends and family we went there for lunch today and the food was absolutely Devine the service was excellent well done to the bang bang staff regards Mark Wilden

My partner and I popped in for a quick drink after a christening which was around the corner from Bang Bang.
Thanks to Jill for her exceptional hospitality today, it’s the little things that make the difference. We had our expectations exceeded, we’ll definitely be back! Thanks again!

Vibrant and comfortable restaurant with a trendy but casual vibe. Food is modern South East Asian style. We had the $59 set menu, which lets you try most of the dishes on the menu. Was good value, we literally rolled out of the restaurant. Had approximately 3 or 4 sets of savoury dishes plus dessert, each set had 3 to 4 dishes to share. Music was a bit too loud to talk over but service was good.

Food was great and the service was friendly and prompt. We had the banquet and it was a taste sensation Adding more local craft beer options would make things even better!

Fantastic venue
I had to book in 50 people for afterwork drinks on a Friday night and got to the venue due to cancellation of other venue at 230pm in the afternoon
They accommodated my group and arranged the outdoor area for us
Service was exceptional
I really recommend this place, some of my guest also had a meal there and stated food was fantastic also

Bang bang bang! Tonight was so good, great service, good vibe and even better food. If you are in the neighbourhood you need to check this out.

Always love going to Bang Bang! Great food and great vibe. Beautiful decor inside and outside. The menu changes regularly so there's ways yummy new dishes to try

Went for the bottomless brunch, my friend is vegetarian, they catered amazingly. The serving sizes were huge!

Would give 6 stars if it had lasagnes.

THE BEST chicken wings or ribs! Ive try! Staff it is fun! Thanks to the attentive manager Gemma! She was so polite and professional at the time to serve us even if we arrive at almost 10.pm.excellent food, service (the waitress was funny we asked him 73637 times for salt! And he brought it at the 73638 time we asked for)! What really impress us was how clean was the venue! Even in a busy night! Thank you all Bang Bang team.

One of the staff members was very rude to us. She approached us many times, asking us if we were going to order more food. We told her we were not going to and she kept coming, even interrupting our conversations. We didn't like they way she talked to us and we all felt uncomfortable. We started feeling upset, so we left.

It was not only they way she talked to us but also how she approached us with her body language, quite aggressive.

Fortunately, the rest of the staff was very nice to us.

One of my favourites and where I go regularly to catch up with friends and family. Wide variety of delicious food, great drinks list and the staff & atmosphere are perfect.

Had a beautiful $29 "bang quick" meal at lunch today. Attentive service with a smile, beautiful flavours, lovely wine and "bang" for your buck.
A favourite was the prawn betel leaf dish. Highly recommend the lunch.

1.1% surcharge / lazy service / wrong order / dish not served. Worst is the surcharge though, not acceptable

Bang bang has become our local since we moved back to the area in June this year. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is so chill and the service is also amazing. We come here at all times of the day whether for a coffee, a happy hour bevvie or for a lovely brunch /dinner with some mates. Hands down recommend this place:)

Great venue, happy hour is cool but the Male staff were rude, arrogant and lacked personalities. So if they could dislodge the sticks out of there arses the place would get 5 stars lol.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Elsternwick. Never had a bad experience. The pork belly and waggiu beef curry are to die for. The Laminton dessert is the best!

Had a fantastic Valentines dinner, the wine pairing was superb and the meals where well balanced and it all seemed well thought out. Our waitress was funny and engaging, and we had a much better time since I was there about 6 months ago, will be going back soon.

I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. I am a celiac and often feel like a leper when I ask staff about gluten free options. Jess was absolutely delightful and went out of her way to accommodate me. The food was to die for and we will definitely be back.

This place is s must. Staff are attentive and friendly, food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed with soft lighting and open plan design. Toilets were clean. We only paid $60 p/p for a banquet, wines and cocktails. A huge thankyou to Jenny for her wonderful hospitality. Will definitely come again.

Cool Vietnamese bar inspired place with funky nooks and overheads. Food is delicious but varies in quantity, ask the staff for more info
