Ordered the pork belly, $30 for 3 small bites with a salad, pretty disappointed, definitely avoid this dish. Called them to make sure there hadn’t been a problem, this is what you’re meant to get apparently.

Very nice food. I absolutely loved the miso eggplant, very tasty and cooked well (not too firm or soft). Drinks a little pricey for what you get. Thumbs up though!

Even with a limited menu at present, there's plenty of options for everyone including vegans and children with more simple palates. We ordered a nice mix of dishes to share and every dish was a hit. The kid's fried rice was flavourful and the kids really enjoyed it. The baos were delish and it's difficult to decide which one I loved more. The buddha bowl was beautifully presented and at such a great price.

Ordering and collection is really simple, with options to preorder online and collect through their window.

It definitely has our family tick of approval and I look forward to testing my chilli (non-existent) tolerance on our next Bang Bang at home.

This restaurant never disappoints, very clever asian fusion dishes that will tantalize the most demanding of taste buds.

The star was the eggplant perfect match of crunch and softness.

Although is it bit pricy as compared to the portion size.the portion size is enough for one. Staff emphasizes on "to share portion" but naaah! You can easily finish the delicious food.

The service is average no complaints but enthusiasm was missing.was dull and boring.

Eaten here twice now. Asian fusion is a tough genre but they execute it well. The Kim chi mussels the first time was awesome. Mussels were so fresh. Second time the mussels were meh.
Main disappointment is the service. Young staff with what seems like no leadership. Both times they didn’t get a tip because they didn’t deserve it. I get better service at Grill’d in Southland.
Service needs to up its game to match the food.
I may return. Not sure.

This place is the bomb. Chill, genuine staff. Creative, well executed food. Got the "feed me" for 2, super impressed.

We enjoyed a take-away from here and it was heavenly. Particularly enjoyed the fried egg plant, dumplings, spicy chicken wings and noodles but the whole meal was a perfect fusion of Asian and oriental cuisine. A full 5 stars

Food is overwhelmed by the strong sweetness or sourness of the sauce so you can barely taste the flavour of the meat or vegetable that you are eating.
The "Fresh fish" is fried so much that I would not be able to tell the difference between it and a fillet of fish from Maccas. Reflecting back, all their meat was too heavily fried.
This place also prioritises large groups over couples, you can't book a table for less than 4 people, and you will most likely have to sit at a pretty loud bar as all tables will be booked for large groups.

Cocktails are delicious and food is great everytime. Nice little chilled out place with great staff!

Paid $20 for 4 pieces of fat 6cm X6 cm long. Was ment to be pork belly. I have been there to eat before and was impressed. This time take away. My wife took one bite of her egg plant. The dog liked it. Please eat in.

What a delicious unexpected impromptu dinner we had here on Saturday night. We sat at the bar, enjoy a great selection of small share dishes which were tasty, creative and filling. Can't wait to go back again

Modern Asian can be the best description for this relativity new establishment in Mordialloc. This is a rapidly evolving and trendy area with its funky and hip little nooks springing up all along the strip. Bang Bang delivers a welcome and fresh new genre to the area with the delivery of modern, fresh and a few truly outstanding dishes. Our prawn sliders and sweet chili & ginger eggplant selections we’re definitely worth the choice. Sure the dishes here are deep, rich and sweet, however that’s how we unashamedly like them. The dessert menu is small however I hasten to say very impressive in quality, freshness and presentation. Service here is also good to very good with enough staff hovering around to prevent any ‘waiting’ frustration. Meal and drink prices are a ‘tad’ on the high side, however not so much as to spoil the experience by completely emptying the coffers. Definitely worth a try for the menu exploration alone, not to mention the meal quality, the good service and generally relaxed ambience.

Squid Karaage was amazing! I get nervous that squid will be rubbery - but this was light and delicious I recommend getting this.
Bao buns were okay, we got beef and pork. I think this is the kind of venue Mordy needs right now!

This is an amazing Asian fusion in Mordialloc. Regularly changing menu which maintains some classics, this venue is worth a visit. The team running it are always great and I love the decor. Menu operates as a tapas style with dishes coming out when ready. Service is always super quick.

Came here for dinner last night. Excellent service. The restaurant itself is well presented and clean. The food is great. Fresh and tasty. The big problem was the price of the food compared to the quantity of the food you receive. The main dishes we more like entrees. Salmon was a tiny maybe 120-150 gram piece for $30 as an example. The bao were 2 pieces for $16. I spent $230 for 6 people no alcoholic drinks and we all left feeling hungry. No one should ever leave a restaurant hungry. This is my only criticism. Keep your prices the same but please make your portions larger.
Would I come back. If I wasn't feeling particularly hungry I would and only for a table of 2, any more people and I would choose a different restaurant.
