I have been going to them for years and everything I bring there comes back looking brand new!

I travel 30min out of the way to use these guys and I have a dry cleaners 5minutes from my house. That says a lot about the service this lot provide.

Two woollen sweaters, dry cleaned and repair holes in both. Clean good. Repairs good, but one not completely done as I requested. That's okay as will take to my local alterations business. Steve is a gem and has a great sense of humour. A request: Please provide a 2-person bench seat inside (there's plenty of room), so that us mobility-challenged can catch one's breath! Thank you.

Consistently excellent service and very high quality. There’s a small premium to pay but I consider it great value considering the reliability, quality and service. Formal wear, work suits and my shirts have always been done to perfection and no nasty chemical smell or residue either. Recommended!

I took into Bancrofts a beautiful cream woollen jumper with leather buttons. I ruined the jumper as the buttons left several stains after hand washing. I thought there was little hope of removing these stains but Bancrofts performed magic & my jumper looks brand new. I am beyond thrilled. They told me they removed the leather buttons, removed the stains & then found the exact colour wool to sew the buttons back on the jumper. Now that is a professional dry cleaner. The icing on the cake is that the staff are all delightful to deal with.

Super expensive and broke a button- didn’t tell me either. And heard the appalling way the manager spoke to his employees. Stay away! Head to the other more affordable and more professional dry cleaners in the area!

Nick is rude, unprofessional, and did not take accountability for the damage to my items. I then had to pay for repairs, no explanation or report on the reason. Poor communication. WORST customer service experience.

Hi response.
We received a doona that was manufactured in a substandard way. The internal foam was not secured in place and the doona not serviceable according to the care label provided by the manufacturer. We offered a solution to you and it came out perfectly. The initial problem cannot recur as our tailor has securely attached the foam. It is better than when we initially received it. At all times we believe we were courteous and professional despite being hung up on at least 4 times.
Again, the issue was manufacturing, not dry cleaning.

Actually Nick - Its NOT perfect, there are still stains on the doona, and it is lumpy in areas, and as thin as a sheet in others. It will need to be replaced, so thank you for ruining it. Your team that i have spoken to are embarrassed by this service. Nice try covering yourself up though with that pathetic response. This matter will be taken further.

Don not recommended at all.
They damaged my silky dress.
They hold my dress fo 2 months.
The owner didn't take any responsibility for it.

Yup, they are a little expensive, but they do a great job on everything from suits to doonahs and are always fast, polite and friendly.
If you want super cheap, maybe don't take clothes to the middle of toorak Rd and sth Yarra, but I've always found them ok on price.

I would never trust anyone else. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Very expensive! You can walk 5 minutes down the road and get it less than half price. I only realised this after.

My main issue was as I was picking up, As soon as I paid they said there was a few issues and couldn’t get a few stains out (4 out of 5 shirts were still dirty). They wouldn’t offer any refund or offer to try again. And we’re really obnoxious about it all

It was the nature in how HE said it. I am fully aware about the care label so please don’t decoy away from my issue that he waited until I had paid to mention all the faults.he then used the excuse of it being a rushed job.

Also, if you check the CCTV closer you shall see a man talking also. I agree she was a nice lady but he was far from it. Denied telling me it was rushed and only at the end when other customers came in did he apologise.
So please before defending yourself be fully aware of the situation.

When I moved to melbourne it took me a long time to find a dry cleaner that I was happy with (i used to live at my dry cleaners in SA before moving). I trust Bancrofts with my favourite pieces. Thank you

They don't have a clear price list and they'll try to rip you off if they can. So i recommend to avoid or know your price well.
