I see Lauren for fertility based acupuncture, she is great! It worked once I have no doubt it will work again. Great friendly practice local to me. Well presented, clean, offering a range of services. My partner has also had massage here and he recommends.

I absolutely love my acupuncture treatments with Lauren. They have addressed the reason why I first went to see her which is such a relief! I just love going there for my hour of relaxation and healing.

Jake really takes the time to listen and find treatment thats suits you and your lifestyle. The whole balanced life crew are a fantastic and friendly team!

I initially called and booked for a pregnancy massage with Karl (who was really lovely) and even though I was aware he wasn’t specifically a pregnancy therapist to take care of my needs, I did repeatedly advise that the pressure was too hard and afterr two appointments I was referred to the appropriate therapist with experience in dealing with pregnant women and I had no issue with her. After the birth of my child I returned for postnatal treatment and in particular myotherapy. After 3-4 treatments I started to feel better and then requested to be rebooked for a 60 min remedial massage. My appointments were not all ‘exclusively’ myotherapy. Despite the therapist advertising and also advising me they were trained in remedial massage, at the end of the appointment they suggested I book with their colleague as they didn’t have enough experience and techniques for remedial massage.
On my last 2 visits the therapist left the room several times mid treatment. On the last visit, the previous appointment of another patient ran over and by the time the room was cleaned, and the therapist conducted a pre treatment consult, my 60 min remedial massage session was shortened to40-45 mins to recover the time for their next appointment. Whilst I did take a brief phone call it was for 58 seconds and does not account for 10-15 min reduction in time.
The main reason for my rating is based on this experience and your response to my feedback. If you wish to discuss this further, then you may call me as I don’t believe ‘protocol’ was followed. Despite initially referring other patients (family) to attend this practice, I am unlikely to return myself. Every treatment session I have had has commenced with a consult and note taking by the therapist.this consumes about 5-10 mins of your treatment time, however if you book for a 60mins remedial massage which is what i requested at the time of rebooking this appointment, the expectation was for a 60min hands on remedial massage.

The team at BLHC have been nothing short of amazing, providing great service as soon as you walk through the door. I have been struggling with chronic headaches for over 10 years and seeing awesome results since seeing Jake. Highly recommended!

I am 36 weeks pregnant & came in to see Karl yesterday on the verge of tears due to back & hip pain. I left feeling like i was walking on a cloud & managed to get a full night sleep with no pain - Will 100% be returning every week till i go into labour!

I have been seeing Nathan and Stefan for my lower back pain, in only a couple of weeks time I can feel there's a significant improvement. I also see Karl for my shoulders and neck, he provides some professional and intense treatment which really help loosen up my muscles after some intense workout. Thanks everyone.

My first time experiencing a remedial massage. Was necessary since working from home. Could not fault Elismarie. Not only was she able to relieve a lot of my neck and shoulder pain, but also very professional and welcoming. Looking forward to my next appointment.

I came here after years (>4-5years) of TMJ pain as well as neck and shoulder pain causing horrible headaches and discomfort. I started off seeing Lauren for acupuncture and incorporated some chiro from Jake. We also did some cupping and massage. I finally got some relief from my symptoms thanks to Lauren and Jake and haven’t had a single headache in weeks. Lauren and Jake are both very professional yet super friendly and always make sure I’m comfortable and check if I have any questions. Highly recommended and will continue to go back!

I presented Karl with a number of issues in my neck, back and shoulders which had restricted movements. In the few weeks I have seen Karl my pain has eased and there is more flexibility in the shoulders. I started with a weekly treatment and have progressed to fortnightly treatments. Karl is now treating my lower back and hips, as I have a multitude of issues! Karl puts you at ease straightaway with his easy-going nature which makes it very easy to discuss issues and any other things you wish. The strengthening exercises he gives are doable and targeted to your ability. I highly recommend Karl to treat any pain you may experience in your body. Looking forward to my next appointment!

Karl is an awesome myotherapist with a passion to help individuals feel and function better. He takes the time to listen and understand your goals and needs, and is very skillful with his myotherapy skills.

I had the pleasure of being treated by the clinics new chiropractor Dr Stefan! I am a bit of complex patient with lots of injuries and health conditions. I went with Mis diagnoses for years. Whilst I have an answer to my condition, Dr Stefan offered a different point of view and an alternate treatment plan! And whilst I am often sceptical being in the health industry myself, he proved me wrong. His evidence based methods are exactly what makes a fantastic practitioner!
His knowledge seemed to be incredibly broad and I was pleasantly surprised by his skill.
Being an athlete, I’ve seen numerous chiropractors and health professionals in other industries over the years which I very quickly realise are not up to the task, however today I decided that Dr Stefan will be my new chiropractor! I had Immediate results, a new treatment plan, and he offered much more than a quick manipulation!
He was thorough and actually patient focused rather than time and dollar focused. He was extremely professional, and super friendly!
He mentioned that he was new to the practise, and I can only hope that you continue to keep him as a full time staff member because I feel he would be an asset to your team!

Recently went in for a treatment with Dr Jake and left feeling better immediately afterwards. I have been to a few chiropractors in my time and Jake has been one of the best. Very professional and pleasant. I have some exercises to do at home and looking forward to coming back to see Dr Jake!

I came in to Balanced Life Health Care for chiropractic work for tightness and weakness in my hands. After Two years of going from doctor to doctor, Scan to scan and specialist to specialist, I finally found treatment that helped my symptoms. Under Nathan's fantastic guidance and knowledgeable hands i am now on the road to recovery. I couldn't recommend Nathan any more than i already do.
It also has Fantastic service and nice calming and friendly vibe.

Lauren and her staff are honestly second to none! I was able to fall pregnant very quickly thanks to the incredible service provided by Lauren. She has also helped me greatly with my digestive issues and shoulder injury. Cannot recommend Balanced Life Health Care enough!
