I can highly recommend Dr Lauren Surridge. I was trying to get pregnant after a long experience with chronic illness; Lauren not only helped me to get pregnant through acupuncture, she helped me to gain a more balanced and optimistic perspective regarding my condition. I was amazed at how fast I got pregnant, how good and relaxed I felt during my pregnancy and how quickly my delivery was. I'm super grateful that I could experience the care and support that is so important during pregnancy.

Have seen Dr Lauren Surridge quite a few times now for cupping & acupuncture. Have had both cupping & dry needling (which is similar to/a type of acupuncture I believe) before. She is so knowledgable, gentle & I always leave feeling relaxed & less sore. Will likely continue to see her regularly from now on.

Dr Lauren Surridge an excellent acupuncturist. I had moderate issues with my knee, her treatments certainly helped with the problem to the point where I could walk pain free. Nice meeting you Lauren, and, thankyou. Back to Queensland with a happy face.

The staff at Balanced Life Health Care are amazing, they make you feel welcome from the moment you enter. I have been receiving acupuncture from Lauren and have found it so helpful dealing with pain associated with arthritis. It’s a very calm and relaxing experience in an amazing environment. I've been seeing Dr Carleta Stan for acupuncture and cupping for the last couple of months. Carleta was thorough with her assessment, listened to my concerns, and clearly explained everything in a way that made sense to me. I felt validated and understood. The whole process has felt collaborative. The acupuncture has improved my general wellbeing. I have more energy, and my mental health and digestive issues have improved. I have also had one session with Lauren who was also friendly and professional. Thank you!

I had developed tight upper calf muscles from from soccer and could barely jog.
After a few acupuncture sessions with Carleta I was able to resume full training.

I have been seeing Carleta for over a month now and she is amazing. Each session starts with Carleta taking the time to listen to my concerns and then planning the treatment accordingly. I have had a number of sessions of Acupuncture, Cupping and Tui-Na Massage and cannot recommend Balanced Life Health Care more.

I have been attending BLHC for the past few weeks for several different issues and so far I feel like I'm in the right place. Lauren has been caring, consistent, and helpful. Both through acupuncture and Chinese medicine I feel like I'm seeing progress. Lauren has listened, shared understanding and her knowledge is incredible. Nothing is too hard and I appreciate her step by step approach. Definitely a great energy here!

Not impressed. The first part of the acupuncture went well, but then I was left in a room for almost an hour (I was calling out for the last 15 minutes) and got so stressed that the treatment had the opposite effect to what I'd hoped for.

When I walked into the rooms, I immediately felt safe. Such a lovely environment. Lauren was very calming (I was initially a little nervous), friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything while she was working. After the initial extended treatments, which have been hugely successful, I'm heading towards maintenance. I am almost pain free, and sleeping soundly - which hasn't happened for years! Really professional service and highly recommend, I have had back pain for a long time and seen other specialists with little relief. Dr Koo really takes the time to listen, assess and understand your issues. The cupping therapy I received has really given me some relief finally and I will definitely be going back for other sessions.

Recently had a treatment with Dr. Carleta for acupuncture (have had bad sciatica for awhile!) and felt significant pain relief in my lower back after one session. Despite me being nervous, Dr. Carleta was very pleasant and calm - explained everything to me - and answered all my questions. She made a very nice environment for our session - checking in with me as we went along. Would highly recommend her and looking forward to my next session already.:)

They have a lovely clinic that provides personalised, client focused care to help treat many conditions and provide maintenance for clients to continue to get the fullest out of their lives. I cannot thank Lauren enough for everything she has helped us achieve!

The online booking system is a great bonus as you can easily book a variety of appointments while out and about. 10/10 would recommend this place!

Very rushed, seemed more concerned about me returning twice a week then how I actually felt about the treatment. Good range of supplements and other things on offer but I don't recommend anywhere that rushes things like that.

I have been seeing Caitlyn for myotherapy and she is amazing! I have struggled with headaches and neck pain for a looooong time and she’s helped me so much already in just a couple of sessions! Highly recommend!

I booked in to see Lauren after 8 months of trying to fall pregnant. I knew I had some hormonal imbalances (chin acne, huge mood swings, short periods and mid month spotting to name a few) that needed attention.
With the combo of acupuncture, Chinese herbs, dietary guidance/education and supplements we were able to get my cycle into check.
After a small surgery then one more cycle I finally fell pregnant!
I can’t begin to explain how much I appreciate Lauren’s work. Literally made a dream come true. I will forever recommend my gfs to her.

Changed my life! I hobbled into balanced life a month ago for my first myotherapy appointment with Caitlyn Millet, feeling hopeless as I couldn't even vacuum my house. I noticed a massive reduction in pain after one visit and she even called the next day to see how I was feeling:) I have also started seeing Jake Muddle (chiropractor) who was very reassuring as it was my first time, today 2nd visit I walked out and my body felt different. I wasn't sore! I wasn't scared to take a 15 minute walk home, it felt so good! It may be a slow road to recovery but I know I am in good hands with Caitlyn and Jake.

Ticks all the boxes. Great little find. All my fave treatments finally in one place! Acu, Chiro & Myo. Makes life easy! Great practitioners and clinjc too. Highly recommend!
