Used to use Bakehouse years ago with Black Spring & Dave Last. Always comfortable with good quality equipment.

Good studios. Usually clean, okay backline hire. Needs more parking options. Okay pricing for inner city rehearsal space.

Best rehearsal space in Melbourne, hands down. Great sounding rooms, friendly and accommodating staff. Not just a place to rehearse, but a community hub of great bands and people. ️

Great to be back in the studios. Much better equipped than when i was last there a few years ago and the nicest staff.

I've played with several bands over the years and played most studios across Melbourne. Nothing compares to the Bake House. The real muso's hang out. Back line is always full pro level, reservation service and rooms perfect.for chilled and relaxed creativity.

So BoHo it’s like a boarding house in Prague. Seriously though, there’s some excellent rehearsal rooms here, along with a couple of amazing performance spaces. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere really gets the creative juices flowing. So close to the centre of town too. Can solve a whole lot of band/ego problems by just‘meeting somewhere central’

Last night is very special for me. I made my marriage proposal at Bakehouse studio. How can I describe my experience? All bake house teams are so amazing and professional! They made great efforts to ensure all audio, video and lighting settings goes well. My band and me never got such an great experience on the stage, performing our marriage proposal songs. Finally, my partner was so moved and said yes!

Awesome place to rehearse/record, with super friendly staff. Rooms are very versatile and great atmosphere!

Update Jan 19 - have used the Bakehouse's facilities several times now and always get a great room and great service

Update Jan 20 - rehearsed in various at Bakehouse several times during 2019. If we book a small room when thats whats available we always get upgraded to a bigger one with no extra charge if a bigger room then becomes available. In addition, we might book one session but then be told to stay as long as we like if there is no room booking following us. Thats simply great service from a great facility. Couldnt recommend Bakehouse more. Go and find out for yourself)

Went to a friends 30th here, absolutely amazing venue. Shame about the noise from the bands but it didn't hamper the evening at all!

My old band used to rehearse here years ago and I recently returned with a duo. Just gets better and better. This IS Melbourne music.

What a beautiful place. The Scrap Museum venue is absolutely stunning, the staff and owner are a pleasure to work with, and the garden that greets you upon entering leaves you with a sense of quiet and peace.
