I am a Malaysian and this is my story at this place.

My friends and I chanced upon this store which described themselves as an authentic Malaysian eatery.

We regretted our decision.i have decided to tell our story.

Waiting, an hour. Rice, microwave-like. Rendang, watery and far from being what is supoosed to be.

Stay away!

Cosie and ambient atmosphere under dimmed lights. Our order didn't take too long to be served and you taste freshly prepared food as little as $25 from main's selection. Beverages and spirits also priced reasonably. Very tasty South Asian foods specially Thai cuisine at an affordable cost without quality compromise.

Walking into Baba Hawker is, at least from my perspective, like experiencing the rambunctiousness of the gods in a Hindu temple. There is an obviously apparent bump and grind of the chaotic, but in the end you realise there is method.

It was my mistake to recommend this restaurant to my friends. The waiting time was so longgg. I have to wait for almost 1.5 hours. Hoping that the foods worth the wait but … The worst foods that I have ever eaten.

Worst experience having malaysian food, waited an hour to receive dissapointing fried rice with bad chicken, wouldnt recommend to a friend, steer away

Has the best time here last night! Ben is really nice, accidentally ordered beef rendang instead of the vegan and he replaced it with no cost.also had such a nice time sitting outside with nice lighting and music playing + the vegan food is absolutely amazing! Will definitely be back sometime soon

First ever order: I don't know how it has taken me so long to try this place. Wasted, wasted years spent eating anything other than this wonderful nasi lemak, and the beef rendang. Even as takeaway, the quality is absolutely brilliant. Soft, moist, slow-cooked meats, fragrant coconut and pandan rice, duck curry puff. Just perfect. Can't wait to sit in so I can also try the cocktail menu.

Best little tucked away gem! Games, beers and awesome vegan menu! What’s not to love, the owner and the chef are so friendly and welcoming, the owners really good at suggesting games and doesn’t mind having a chat, there’s a courtyard out the back. The food and the prices were amazing! I love your vegan menu!

Amazing vegan selection and food. Such lovely staff. Ben taught us Crokinole! Loving the vibe. Vegan food + board games - what could be better in life? !? Will be back on a Tuesday night for sure!

Excellent place! Super friendly staff, nice vibes, good food and amazing price. Also has a whole vegan menu option. Highly recommend!
