Really friendly and professional staff. Lovely wines to choose from. Had the best time hosting my birthday here! Zac and Mathilde in particular were so great at helping me get everything setup for my party!

What a lovely place!

The decor is so well thought out. Definitely one of my favourite places of my entire stay in Melbourne.

The wine list is perfect for discovering new wines.

Special mention to Mathilde, the French waitress, who accompanied us throughout the experience. Her invaluable advice helped us to have a perfect evening. Thanks again Mathilde! You were absolutely brilliant!

I'd recommend the place again!

The most wonderful experience, cutest little wine bar absolutely perfect for Melbourne! Interior is so gorgeous, it is quite a cosy setting!

We got the entire menu which was SO filling and absolutely adored as I love having a little of everything. Overall a very pleasant experience, little tweaks can definitely be made to each dish to perfect them like the fried rice papers were quite stale in a couple dishes but my fav was The buckwheat tart, a literal flavor bomb!
And I loved the wines recommended to us! Would definitely come again if menu changes significantly, just because we tried everything and nothing was really like, wow I must come back for this. But would be nice for a lil nibble pit stop and a glass of wine

Love the bite sized dishes! What an incredible mouthful of flavour and intricate elements in each bite. They really mean it when they say finger food because the table does not have cutlery provided and you will use your fingers to pop the goodness into your mouth. A beautiful selection of wine and other alcoholic beverages are on offer. Lovely friendly staff are there to assist with great wine recommendations.
Just keep in mind that the food is more for snacks with the wine so it might not be as filling unless you opt for the full menu option which is available.

I really enjoyed my time here when I was in Melbourne. Good wine selection, if a bit pricey. Food choices are tapas style and very tasty.

Such a great little spot with a friendly neighbourhood vibe. It was our first time here, but it seemed that many regulars were popping in for wine. The food was perfect for snacking, we ordered everything and each little plate that came out was so perfectly presented and the flavours were so exciting. The deboned chicken wing stuffed with mortadella and davidson plum hot sauce was sensational, and the savoury éclair was to die for. Great wine list and friendly knowledgable staff. Plus, anywhere our dog is welcome is a big win in our books.

Great little wine bar! There is a really nice ambiance and a large selection of wine. We came at a weird time so I only tried a few menu items but they were both devine… I’m definitely coming back for the savory donuts!

I’m impressed with the complexity of the flavour profile and texture! I would definitely reorder the radish, tart, chicken wing and eclair if I wasn’t too stuff! The drinks menu was extensive and we had good recommendations from our waitress. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

An intimate bar, with the perfect amount of lighting, sound, and service. The bar snacks (seems wrong to call it that) is exquisite. Each mouthful is a taste sensation. The staff are fantastic and extremely knowledgeable on the food and alcohol. A lovely touch to this perfect intimate bar is when the chef’s come out personally to serve the customers. If you haven’t been, you must!

A Wine Bar is exactly what it is.
We dined on set menu package of 6 canapés for $58 and frankly it's a bit of a joke. One course, the joke was definitely on us as we were served two tiny radishes cut in half with a walnut puree dollop, sandwiched between.really!
We even ordered an extra dish each (+$14) to try to satisfy, which we did enjoy. So at around $120pp I would not consider this value.
However this is a great place for the young to meet for a drink and I'm sure it never meant to pretend to be a dinner venue.

Great place for a cosy quiet drink after work for us.it’s a wine bar though try one of their Negronis if you like that drink.

I really enjoy their food menu it’s a smart one pagers made up of yummy bites and a bit, options.

Great staff - they are knowledgeable and down to earth who like to share their love for wine with their customers.

Was not sure if I should try this place out as I don't drink, but seeing the food menu and knowing that this is a sister restaurant to Amaru, I decided to give it a go. The menu consist of mostly bite size and small plates, so if you're hungry you can definitely try the whole menu. I've ordered a good portion of the menu and the staff was very considerate, offering to do half portions for dishes that comes in twos.

The food was amazing; textures and flavour profile of each dish was done really well, can't really fault anything. If I had to pick a favourite then it will be the duck parfait tart and the lamb hotdog. Probably the best duck parfait snack I've ever had, and the hotdog was so tasty with the herbs and spices, and the pickle gave a little acidity to cut through the richness of the lamb sausage. Can't comment on the drinks but highly recommend the food if you are looking for more than just your regular finger bar food. Also prices are reasonable considering how good the food is.

Great Wine Bar with very tasty food. The cured snapper was a mouth popping sensation, as the duck parfait in buckwheat crust, the crab balls delightful. Wonderful service and find wine knowledge. Highly recommended you try.

Really wanted to do 3.5 stars - wine list is more like a restaurant, not a wine bar. Very limited in wines by the glass which for a wine bar, I would expect to be stronger, and longer.

Food selection was an issue with basically only one vegan /vegetarian item. We had the kangaroo tartare - very nice, but also quite rich, but the prawn roll with kimchi was disappointing - fried prawn cutlet and the kimchi as a flavour in the sauce, not as expected. Roll was nothing to write home about.

Service was OK, nothing special, and atmosphere a bit food court.

Unlikely to go again.

Gets better everytime I go here; the service, the food and the ambience.

The food was delectable; Such fine art and it clearly takes a while to make it but took us few seconds to devour it. Absolutely sublime!

The service was impeccable and the people were so helpful. We couldn't decide on which wine and they were very knowledgeable as well.

Would always welcome the thought to going back
