I CAN NOT RECOMMEND AFA ENOUGH!
I just completed my cert3-4 in the Face to face learning an it’s the best decision I ever made the team there are exceptional with copious amounts of knowledge an I have no doubt I will succeed with the knowledge I have attained from studying at AFA.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else if I had to do it again!

Pretty good, i finished my course with them at the start of the year, and if you're passionate about fitness you'll definitly be able to connect with the teachers!

My experience studying at AFA through face to face was really amazing, memorable, and worthy of my time. I was always excited attending school even if it was just 2 days a week, because every session of our class is full of knowledge sharing from my classmates, and especially from our teachers. Another thing I love about the classroom base lessons was training your classmate and they need to act like the person on the case study. Thank you to All the teaching staff of AFA and also to my classmates, all the best to everyone!

I’ve just completed my certificate 3 and 4 with Australian fitness academy, I highly recommend the face to option for this course. The facility and all teachers were fantastic and helped me learn in a very practical way which suited me best. It’s a great experience being with like minded people in the course that you can bounce ideas off and learn things from a different perspective. Thank you to the team at AFA for giving the skills for my new career path, I appreciate the work you all put in.

Without a doubt would recommend AFA to everyone. I just finished studying my Certificate III and IV face to face with them and I have to say best decision I’ve ever made. All the lecturers there are amazing and are always filled with a contagious positive attitude and energy. There was never a bad day at AFA or a day that I wasn’t surrounded with so much support and guidance.

Face to face was the best way to do this course. I got to pick the brains of all my classmates and highly experienced trainers everyday. Everyone kept each other on track and helped each other out while holding ourselves and our classmates at a high standard every time. I am so thankful for all the AFA team who got me through this course.:)

I would highly recommend the face-to-face courses for Certificates III and IV in fitness for anyone interested in becoming a personal trainer or following a similar career in the fitness industry. In addition to the necessary skills and knowledge being taught well, I had lots of practical and personal development, because of the influence and expertise of the teaching staff, and the facility being a great practical learning environment with classrooms and a gym.

Further Edited- received below response. It is even further disappointing to see how AFA thinks below comment is ok. Not at once did they apologise or acknowledge comment was extremely inappropriate, they just keep trying to brush it off. How could they be teaching modules about customer service and how to deal with complaints when they cannot even have any decency to acknowledge their mistake? I'm afraid it's back to 1 star.

Edited- AFA called me back regarding below. Although AFA provided solutions to work around below task (which isn’t helpful really). AFA did not acknowledge below comment was really inappropriate. As much as I appreciate AFA’s trying to resolve this issue, sometimes acknowledgment is really important. In addition, it is A FACT that this course requires too many participants. I gave one additional star to acknowledge AFA tried to help.

This AFA has too many modules that requires the whole world to participate. I am here in Australia with no families here and all of them are in China. All of my friends also left Australia due to Covid. In China, no one can access Zoom which they are unable to help. I clearly reflected my difficulties to the customer service and this customer service did not even acknowledge my difficulties instead replied " Great! (Meaning I am in Australia) this will work out for you. "!? What kind of customer service is this!? This customer service did not even acknowledge the fact that all my family and friends are in China. This customer service just kept referring to ask my colleagues and take out 30 minutes of their time to simply help out!? She thinks it's a simple favour that anyone can do it not to say they want 4 participants to participate all at the SAME time. A bit of understanding would be appreciated. Please WORK ON YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. It's disappointing to see the lack of common sense from your people.

I have absolutely loved my time at AFA. I have just recently completed the face to face courses & I am blown away by the amount of fun I had during my studies. I was very hesitant to sign up but so glad I did. The face to face learning really allowed me to learn a lot from the lecturers & pick their brain for any advice I needed. I felt supported, I felt challenged & I have gained so much knowledge in the industry thus far. To study at AFA was so much fun & an absolute privilege. I cannot recommend the face to face studying enough & if you’re thinking about it, definitely do it!

Couldn’t recommend AFA any more highly for those wanting to become a PT or just learn and expand more about their knowledge about fitness industry as a whole! Especially doing face to face learning with all the lectures being easy to talk to and pick their brain, there is always a fresh new perspective to learn something in a way that can be quite eye opening:)

I completed my Certificate III & IV face-to-face with the team at AFA this year and it honestly was one of the greatest experiences of my life! The team there are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and welcome every student that walks through their doors with open arms! Shout out to every single educator there for producing top-quality and successful PT's, and for dedicating their time and resources to their students everyday.

Really great place to learn and fun environment. Only downside is having people in your class that aren't there for the right reasons

Absolutely phenomenal teachers for the cert 3 and 4 face to face course. The knowledge and experience combined with a kind and open learning environment with plenty of practical hands on classes made the world of difference during my time completing the course. Going from someone who exercised but didn't know much into someone who can easily say that I'm a pt and can train anyone in any environment.

AFA take the fitness industry seriously! The course content & lecturer delivery doesn't happen over night. Their experience & depth of knowledge was paramount to how much I got out of the course. I am so happy I chose to do the face to face course. Having the ability to be assessed & encouraged by the staff & my peers in the group was part of the essential learning experience from my POV. It was so much more than I expected in a good way! The lecturers balance the content & practical really well - always trying to get out of the class room as much as possible. Couldn't speak more highly of their professionalism & the genuine connection you make when doing the FtoF course. Thanks to all the gang & those behind the scenes.

I had an excellent experience completing my Cert III and Cert IV in Fitness with the Australian Fitness Academy. I live remote so I thought there may be areas of this course that I would struggle to complete but it was made super smooth with the help of the student support team.
I found that the online content was easy to navigate and presented in an engaging way. The assignments were relevant and related to the online content.
I am extremely pleased that I chose the AFA to study with and could not be happier with the support and qualification that I received from them.

I just completed my cert III and IV Face to Face at AFA from start to finish and I couldn’t recommend it more! The environment there is perfect for anyone to learn and grow in the fitness industry as all the content taught is relevant to becoming a successful personal trainer. Face to face learning has so many extra aspects to it that I wouldn’t have received elsewhere. So grateful to have experienced such an awesome course and learnt so mcuh off the awesome teachers!

I was part of the face-to-face group in 2021, and to say that the course exceeded my expectations is an understatement. Coming from a COVID classroom of 2020 in Year 12, having face-to-face learning with amazing lecturers was something that I needed. The access to knowledge and countless resources was invaluable and cannot thank them enough. Since entering the industry, I can see how well prepared I am in comparison to others. The skills you learn through the practical sessions allows you to put the theory you learn into practice straight away, making grasping difficult topics a breeze. When you're in an environment with supportive teachers and like minded pupils, you are bound to have a great time, make some life long connections, and explore your passions. Could not recommend the Australian Fitness Academy enough. My experience was awesome! Completing the course was the best decision of my short life so far!

Could not recommend AFA enough! I recently completed my Cert III and IV in Fitness with the face to face team and couldn’t have asked for a better result. Huge thanks to the team for assisting me to finish the course in line with the face to face end date! The lecturers were all so supportive and knowledge and were each able to bring their own work experiences to the classroom. The facility was well-equipped and the course content relevant to the industry. The learning opportunities that I received as a face to face student were more than I could have imagined and am now grateful for the job opportunities that have followed!

After now having completed a Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness as well as the LEAN Nutrition Tech and Coaching course, I'm proud to have been a student at the Australian Fitness Academy! State of the art facility and thoroughly enjoyable, interactive and relevant courses. The staff are friendly, approachable, knowledgable and professional and I'm very fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from the AFA team. It is no wonder that people travel from far and wide to study at AFA and I couldn't recommend them more!
