There is 0 support from the staff, the marking is ridiculously inconsistent across all subjects. The only reason I am still here is because no uni close enough to me does my course. I actually cannot stress enough how let down I have been throughout the last 3 years, multiple times I have emailed tutors about questions I have and they always say they will get back to me and they never do despite me chasing them up. Oh, and even though I had a higher gpa than my friends I still don't get accepted into the honours program and they did, explain that acu? Do not study here you will regret it, I am sick of paying all these fees and not getting anything in return. An absolute joke of a university. I have previously studied at Deakin and Monash and they are much more put together. Would rate acu 0 stars if I could.

Went to do a service for one of their kitchen-pumps today. I have never been disgusted by a customer like them, despite knocking and calling from the entrance the main guy I suit in his fancy little office completely ignored my call and won’t even open the door for me. Such a bunch of arrogant haughty people - never will I go there to see such contemptuous behaviour from them.

If you want to work their excellent. No matter what mistake you will do they will always cover it by using students as a scape goat. If you're a student, Don't come within 10kms of the place. Some teachers are nice. Some will give 0 empathy and blame you for their own mistakes and make sure you fail with repercussions of failing your whole degree at the last semester just to save a little face. Worst experience after attending 4 different universities. Would not recommend even if the fee's were free. Because let's face it, you'll only fail anyway and that's if the teacher has the education to use the system to fail you because mine sure didn't.

They are always the be at Australia. They have wonderful academic and non-academic staffs. They also have an awesome facilities that makes leaning interesting and conducive for students.
They have awesome structures and the security of the students and staffs are sure by the management board.
I love the school and they have produce wonderful and great men and women that are making great impact in the world.

The ACU is where my medical centre is. Really busy, but doing great work.
The dedicated staff are working with some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people out there, I am very moved, media attention has been focussed on the rulebreakers and I'm ashamed to say that I forgot about the homeless and other disadvantaged people. But thank goodnes s for the frontliners!

A campus that offers minimum facilities. Have done a Bachelor degree and almost done with a postgraduate degree from here. Never felt like a campus. It's more like a training institute or something as a proper campus offers at least a diverse food and beverage collection, book shops and many other essential things that ACU Melbourne doesn't.

Very disappointed with this University, will never recommend it to anyone. My wife fullfill all her English language requirements, she is been working professionally in IT sector, yet again this uni ask her for her English course.
They are inconsistent with other universities in Australia where you can get admission pretty easily.
Dont waste your time with their administration thats my suggestion

ACU’s nursing degree is pretty disorganised and unsupportive. They have too many students for the amount of placements they have, and many people are left without placement for a while. They also love to preach about how supportive they are. But when send an email to your lecturer or post on question forums, 80% of the time you’ll be given a passive aggressive reply or no answer at all. So much of the content is also online and to be viewed at your own time.

The environment at ACU Melbourne is also pretty bad. You’ll be treated as a number and there’s this overall vibe that they want you to fail just so they can get more $$$. The physical campus at Melbourne is also tiny so you probably won’t find any study spots.

That being said, ACU still manages to have a good reputation in nursing, midwifery and paramedicine. Some of the teachers are really passionate and actually want you to learn. The equipment in labs are well-maintained. Lab classes in general are pretty useful and engaging.

If you’re deciding whether you should come here, weigh up the pros and cons real hard.

I was visiting a close friend of my named Bella. She has nothing but horrific things to tell me abouyt this place. Luckily, just about eveything Bella had told me was fictional. I can't wait for my next visit!

Best University campus in Melbourne! Great coffee, friendly vibe, education focussed staff. Only Catholic influence is concern for social justice and human dignity.

There is no worse university in Melbourne, it's so poorly organised and I genuinely believe they do not want you to do well and facilitate failure so that you keep paying for your classes. Useless admin too, really relieved after reading the reviews and talking to people in my classes that my opinion is shared and it's not just me feeling lost.

Would not recommend this uni to anyone ever. I regrettably went here for 5 years as it was the closest uni to my location but it was probably the worst mistake I ever made. The staff are extremely rude and arrogant. If you ask them questions they refer you to the website and will try avoid doing any work for you. They are not compassionate at all, they forget that you pay over $1000 per subject. If you try to complain about their process you are told the complaint process takes 6 months. When I started the course, my study guide was not aligned to my course, it was changed over 10 times in the 5 years with several subjects being cancelled, unavailable etc. When you ask for help with this you are told to “look at your study guide”. Really pathetic, save yourself the trouble and go to a bigger and more professional uni who already has its procedures and processes developed.

Wow where to begin. First off they ask for extra money which I already paid. They wont egen acknowledge that I did all payments and now won't even give me my Certificate! Staff are rude as hell and I am disguisted by the uni. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. DO NOT GO HERE!

Hands down the best uni to go to. The facilities are amazing although there was a period of trying to figure out the quiet places to go to. The uni offer smaller numbers for certain degrees which really helps to make friends and become more connected with the uni experience. Lots of clubs on offer and plenty of experiences. As a staunch atheist it feels quite nice that a place can call itself Catholic but accept everyone no matter what they believe. A step in the right direction for society.

This Uni is the worst that I have ever being. I'm studying online postgrad, professors don't even bother to record a lecture. I'm paying all this money for them to mark assignments only. Ridiculous. Library services and resources are a joke. No toilets inside the library. And the website is so poorly done, confusing, slow. Terrible experience. I really regret to have started doing my post grad there. I don't recommend. They have to improve in so many levels to be able to call themselves university.

What a horrible experience studying here has been. There is no support and it makes me wonder what I am paying for. Don’t go here unless you want your higher education experience to be a miserable uphill battle. Lecturers don’t care but it’s the uni admin that is the real joke. I dare you to send an email to Ask ACU, I guarantee that it’s just a robot replying, because no human would be so useless. Thanks for nothing you ignorant jerks!

Terribly organised, the facilities and student website is lacking in effort. Some teachers and students are racist to people of colour and not nice

If you are not Australian (born or raised) STAY AWAY from this place. Staff will treat you like s**t and other students will simply ignore you.
It is the most unfriendly place I ever studied at.please please please do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Appalling! Staff don’t care, it’s terribly organised and im shocked im paying for this. The Vatican clearly put all their funds into covering child abuse cases and nothing into ACU!

Avoid ACU if you want to do a nursing degree. They not only struggle to find placements for students but also throw students in regional area hospitals (because its cheaper for uni). Consider Deakin, Monash or RMIT.
All students across various disciplines are FORCED to do Catholic studies as electives (UNCC100 and 300) which have NOTHING to do with the course. Other universities offer course related electives which help develop your knowledge.
This university USED TO BE good, NOT ANYMORE!
