Very disappointing. We did not have NBN connection since last night and the customer service representative said they need a technician to come over and check the NBN box and the earliest booking is on Thurs so that’s 3 days with no internet. I have requested if they can give a temporary internet like a dongle or anything to assist us with, as my husband and I are both working from home and we need internet for work, the lady said no they cannot do anything. I have asked if the number of days without internet will be deducted from our bill, she again said no as they will only compensate if the customer has no internet for more than 10 days. I don’t like to compare as much as possible, but with Optus when we had similar issues previously, they asked us to purchase a dongle and they paid for it, and they gave us 30gb of free data on the sim so we can continue with our normal lives and work while waiting for the issue to be rectified. I hope Aussie Broadband will have the same service as a compensation for customers with affected internet connection. Now I’m stuck I cannot work and we have to wait until the issue is fixed.

Thank you Aussie Broadband. I give you a 5 star gold standard rating. Incredible and amazing sales & technical service. AB had my NBN & mobile connections sorted out within a 24hour time frame this includes a router and SIM cards. Whereas the other 2 major telcos gave me the run around and pathetic service (overseas call centre, thick accents on a distorted line, with the only technical advice was “try turning it off and on again”!). Thank you

It's lucky we live in a country where you can say anything and make outrageous claims. Best Service? No way
Customer service non-existent at Aussie Broadband.
I've been trying for months to get connected.
Thanks, but no thanks. I'll stay where I am.

Horrible customer service. Read the trust pilot reviews before you engage with Aussie Broadband.

In response to Sarah from Aussie Broadband:

A user DOES NOT provide consent to use their data in any way including for the purposes of marketing when they abandon the four step online application process. That is clear.

Further, your staff certainly implied that it is the fault of a customer not a company if a company uses personal data obtained by any means including obtained via the Optus Hack and the customer then enters into a contract with the company who has used the personal data to solicit such a contract. The Aussie Broadband staff member stated that his data was obtained in the Optus Hack and he inferred that he would be smart enough to not enter into a contract with a company calling him.

Further in response to this: "If you don't wish to be contacted by us, we suggest avoiding entering any details in our website if you're just browsing. "

Aussie Broadband needs to make this explicit at the beginning of the 4 step process to comply with Australian Privacy laws.

Much like a rugby player, Aussie Broadband clearly doesn't understand the concept of "consent".

Worst company to ever do business with. Still billing me months after I closed my accounts. Then it gets sorted and they didn't like that at all. They now claim fetch boxes not returned yet tracking says they were. So again 3 months after they now claim not returned. Honestly used to be a great company nowAussie no stars. Stay clear no matter where you live. You will be served a truck load of lies and broken promises
