Great place to try Indian food. Perfect for date nights. The ambience resonates with Indian culture with a contemporary twist. Great interiors and the food is mind blowing.

2 stars for the service, food was ordinary - mostly lacked flavour.
Location is ok close to the beach but ambience was ordinary for fine dining restaurant.

We had a pleasure of enjoying a very nice dinner at Atta restaurant in Melbourne, Australia. Beautiful restaurant, very pleasant atmosphere, wonderful service. The food presentation was fabulous & these guys really plan it well.

The fusion of Indian and Western flavors is done exceptionally well, adding a unique twist to the traditional Indian cuisine. The food presentation is great, and the quality of the dishes is outstanding what i like was that the restaurant offers a great selection of gluten-free options, making it suitable for various dietary preferences

The food was just amazing, 10/10. We ordered 2 mains with rice and naan as well as some sides and everything came out in less than 10 minutes. The service was exceptional and the ambiance was top tier. We will definitely be coming back here. Thank you Atta!

What an excellent restaurant. Definitely elevated the Indian cuisines and made it marvellously flavourful. Service is great, staff is great. The ambience is very nice and the whole vibe makes the experience so worthy. They took a last minute booking for us and we were lucky to be their guest.

Was such a disappointing experience! The ambience is reserved for the non indians and the food is so over rated! I fell sick after eating there too! The kerala prawn curry is nothing like the traditional kerala dishes! Utter and total disappointment! But the staff and service was really good. All in all, for the price, such an over rated Indian restaurant!

Don’t leave without trying the Sharaabi lassi. I had to get that out first. We love it Please also try the chai if you like chai. We started off with sous vide lamb (sakandari raan) which presents in a glass smoke lid. It’s tender and smoky flavour was very nice. Then we had the spinach chicken (achari murgh palak) and the barramundi (machi tikka masala). I preferred the barramundi because I like less spice. My Hyderabad partner preferred the spinach. Both were very good as well. We also had the dum murgh biryani which not authentically cooked via layers was still very rich and flavourful. Finally we finished with the gajar ka halva. Which was a great way to finish the night. Delicate, complex and full of sweet kisses. Service was excellent and special call out to Roopali who was a fantastic host! Atta is the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne. You pay for quality and I highly recommend it to celebrate a special occasion as we did. I suggest you try it! We booked a few weeks ahead to get a nice couple table near the window.

The food is excellent but what beats it is the customer service. The entire staff makes the experience very memorable. Rupali displayed excellent customer service skills and went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely evening. Thank you Rupali

Hardly I find any Indian restaurants that offers quality. Tasty food that comes with a price.

Customer service at the best. Initially they explain the constituents of the dish and a brief way of it's preparation once they bring the dish to your table. Something which I have never experienced at another place.

The staff is very friendly.

The drinks are a master piece. I personally loved it. Food is above average. Biryanis are pot biryanis and may not be a liking for many.

We did a birthday dinner at Atta, the ambience and food was amazing. Rupali and Karan made sure to take good care of us and were kind enough to even celebrate the birthday.

Amazing food and excellent service.
We had the butter chicken, palak psner and an amazing lamb curry. Excellent Naan bread and raita as well.

Best Indian we've had in Australia! (We have Indian from a restaurants every week in Australia for years) Genuine Indian flavours with an incredible creativity. Excellent service, and amazing value for money. Couldn't recommend it any higher.

It's unfair to referr to Atta as probably the best Indian restaurant in Australia. It's one of the best restaurants, fullstop. Food is superb, not necessarily modern, just superb. Service is impeccable and the place looks and feels wonderful. Prices are not as high as one might expect for this quality. Byo Mon to Wed offers even better value.
