The restaurant is really nice and the food is fresh and tasty. Next year I believe I will be here again.

On Saturday the 31st of July I attended a relaxation massage. While I was receiving the relaxation massage, she began to use techniques I have experienced while being treated by my Osteopath. I had some tightness in my left shoulder and the masseuse proceeded to carry out manipulation techniques to try and release some tension. I asked if she had trained in remedial massage or Myotherapy and she replied, "I had an Osteo friend show me this".

During the session I was not in pain, however the massage was more of a deep tissue massage rather than a relaxation massage. Not long after I was having dinner at Astra restaurant and my neck became very tight and sore. I went back to my accommodation and my neck started to seize up in pain. The next morning, I was in so much pain, I couldn't move my neck properly. I was not able to use my ski pass due to my pain and have had to attend a Doctor afterwards to tend to my neck.

A masseuse should not be using the techniques that a doctor uses and it is negligence to use techniques untrained.
Luckily, I only have the short-term effects of muscle soreness and I was not deeply affected by someone using therapy untrained.

I have asked twice for a manger to call me so we could have a chat about the incident that has occurred, however I have not received a call or email which is disappointing. I then emailed and still haven’t had anyone contact me.

I dined at Astra having a degustation and wine pairing and the food was incredible as well as the service from the staff. The service leading up to the massage was very enjoyable and I appreciate the ambience of the venue.

I hope to hear from someone soon. Let's please come to a resolution soon, as I would like to enjoy my time at Astra once again (minus the massage).

Didn't stay here, but came for dinner. Some of the best food we have had. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful, and our waitress for the evening was so patient and helpful and just wonderful. I am sure we will be back on our next stay

I actually didn’t really enjoy my food but if overpriced recycled animal parts are your thing then this a great place. Nice atmosphere.also don’t come here if your hungry

Lovely little hotel at Falls Creek. Staff are very friendly and always helpful. Would recommend for families as it has a library, kids play room and a fantastic pool.

A friend for life. Exceptional hotel. Closest thing to Europe’s ski slopes and the hotel has a true lodge feel. We love it here. So good we stayed twice in 2 weeks. Shannon the General Manager is a gent, all the staff have been taught customer Service “101” and the lodge itself is beautiful.

You can’t do any better than Astra in Australia’s snow fields.

Stayed at the Astra for 3 Peaks and we couldn't have asked for a better place. Super friendly and efficient staff (big thanks to Sam on reception) for going the extra mile. Decor and building in general is stunning but even better is that it functions perfectly and is cleverly designed. Great location. Would definitely stay here again. Day spa was great too.

I spent a weekend at Astra Lodge photographing the destination wedding of Jazmine and Marcus.

Set against the breathtaking cliffs filled with white snow, this intimate celebration was as magical as you’d imagine when saying ‘I do’ in a winter wonderland.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate the guests needs and even let us use confetti in the venue. So much fun and memories made to last a lifetime.

Been here 3 years in a row now and it keeps getting better. Beautiful bedrooms that fit all types of families also with Apple TV in every room. Also for the kids they’ve got a awesome game room where there is a PlayStation 4 with a bunch of board games. The huge tv in there also has live tv in their with 2 couches. And after a beautiful day of skiing you can go down to the beautiful indoor pool, in that same room there is also spa/jacuzzi that is very nice and hot and also a sauna and steam room. You are definitely paying for value at this place but I have to say, food is a little pricy there for what you get, except for breakfast which is beautiful

I loved all the little touches such as being dropped and picked up from the snow from your front door to the beautiful drinks by the open fire. We will be back

My daughter had her 4 day wedding celebration there. I cannot speak highly enough regarding the facilities and staff at Astra. They picked up all the guests and all the wedding decorations, put up decorations etc. The cocktails are amazing and the food is 5 star. Even their breakfast buffet is delicious and generous. The spa treatment, facials, massages are wonderful. The in house hairdresser and make up artists are top class. The staff worked hard to make this a wonderful experience for our 50 guests. The lodge is something out of a James Bond movie, with an open fire place, timber and stone features with a beautiful view onto the slopes. Also has a great pool, steam room and sauna. The list goes on. Thank you for a great experience

Wow! This place has stolen my heart! We had our bespoke winter wedding at Astra, hiring it exclusively for 2-nights for all of our guests. The venue is stunning and has old world charm, it feels like you are in a beautiful ski resort in Europe. The staff at the Astra went above and beyond to make our dream wedding a reality. They were all so friendly, personal, enthusiastic and professional, even signing a beautiful wedding card for us at the end of the weekend. Their food and chef's were outstanding, with gourmet 5-star food the whole weekend, including an amazing wedding cake by their pastry chef. The Astra will forever hold a very special place in our hearts and those who attending our magical weekend there. Would highly recommend staying at the Astra in Falls Creek for a romantic snow getaway, special occasion or a wedding!

The best service I have ever had. The staff at Astra Lodge went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and at home. My wife and I were blown away at how accommodating they were. If I could give 6 stars I would have.

Rooms verry verry verry small for what u pay I expected a lot more like a microwave and toaster and hair dryer the basics really. Has it's own coffee pod machine but everything else is faultless

Great cocktails with good variety and knowledgeable bar staff. Fantastic atmosphere. Who doesn't love an open fire! Decor is perfect for a warm night in. Friendly staff that serve with a smile. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food - we had the kangaroo gravlax and scallops for entree followed by venison for two with sides of truffle chips (which was great!) and brussle sprouts. Add 4 glasses of wine and a total bill of $207 - which was great value for what we had!

Wow. An absolute gem of a resturant and bar with a massive fireplace. Great staff and perfect drinks. For a few moment we forgot we were in Australia and thought we were in the Swiss Alps

Astra Falls is absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the services was 5 star. We will definitely be coming back and recommend everyone give this place a visit!
