Best Afghani restaurant in Australia. Memorable eggplant and a lovely waiter. Great place for a family meal.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and did not regret giving it a go.
Most succulent kebabs I've ever had. Highly recommend! Super tasty
We also got the mantu, next time I will ask for more mint sauce as that's my personal preference.
Staff were friendly and provided very quick service.

I would have given a 5 star if they didn’t charge $2.5 for a tiny side of chilli dipping sauce…I mean who charges for chilli sauces at restaurants?

Having said that, the Kabuli Pallow (with lamb shank) was so yummy, lamb was falling off the bone tender and I literally asked for a paper straw and insert the straw in the bone to “drink” the bone marrow.

We have also ordered the mixed kebab plate…grilled chicken and lamb mince were very tender and yummy, however the lamb tikka skewer was rather tough and dry…

Just had our first meal here.amazing! The food is outrageously good and the service matches. Thank you to our waiters for the wonderful welcome and being so helpful with our newborn. We had such a lovely evening. All the dishes were delish but the eggplant and chips were outstanding.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality that set the tone for the entire evening. The staff at Ashy's are not just attentive but also passionate about the menu, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that each guest feels truly valued.

The highlight of my visit to Ashy's was undoubtedly the outstanding cuisine. The menu is a fusion of flavors that showcases the chef's creative genius. Each dish was a masterpiece in itself, bursting with freshness and flavor. The ingredients were locally sourced, and the attention to detail in the preparation was evident in every bite.

We had our father's day lunch here and it was the first time we tried this restaurant.

The food was really good and combined with their service and the turnaround for the food, the rating is well deserved.
We will be back.

I’m on a short visit from Brisbane. Have discovered this place by chance. The food is absolutely delicious. You can taste the love the cook has put into making every dish. It's been a while since I visited Ashy's Afghan and I do need to go again.
At my last visit, I enjoyed the food. I recall ordering lamb, eggplant and a chickpea dish. We all loved the food. It was a simple and tasty meal.
