Artea - Art School & Party Venue

The Artea team ran a wonderfully fun superhero-themed birthday party for my 7 year old daughter and friends. They each took home a totally cool superhero creation, and Helen’s infectious enthusiasm brought out the inner artist (or dancer, or limbo champ.) in all of them! Many thanks for creating such a special memory for “Captain Marvel” and her team of superheros!

Helen is such a warm and friendly personality and runs a fabulous art class. My daughter counts down the days until we next go- she feels challenged and inspired. We have also had a birthday party at Artea and it was the best thing ever. No set up or clean up for me- maximum fun for the kids. Highly recommend

My Kids have done classes with Helen and her team for years and they always adore them. They have learned a whole range of skills ranging from graffiti writing to kite-making and these skills have translated into more confidence in thier artwork at home and at school. Thank you Helen and Artea!

Helen was a great host for our 5 year old daughter's birthday party. All the kids had a wonderful time!

Paid for a special themed birthday party but got one that didn’t quite live up to expectation. False advertising by Artea. They didn’t deliver on the goods. The party was nothing like those lovely ones posted on their webpage. Don’t be fooled. Owner said to refund monies paid for a themed birthday but since last email has not done so. I also didn’t get a reply when I enquire further. Very disappointed.

Not just your everyday art program!
Art classes are tailored around a movement or a specific artist or art form and the kids are given insights into each before they embark on their own artworks on the days theme/topic. A true art education with really creative and practical applications each week using different and interesting materials. My girls absolutely love it and I’m thrilled that they are really investigating and learning about the wonderful world of art without realising it ;)

Absolutely great party for my little niece. She wanted an Ariel/under the water theme and the quality of the decorations and the attention to detail was amazing. The crafts were heaps of fun and the food quality and presentation was great! Would definitely recommend!

Thank you to Helen and the team for a FABULOUS 5th birthday party. Nothing was too much trouble, the theming was beautiful, high tea for the little ones just right and the kids were all entertained which meant the adults got to enjoy a good catch up. We all had such a great experience and Helen went above and beyond to make it a success - highly recommend if you are looking for a party venue!

Thanks to Artea for hosting my daughter’s third birthday party recently. It was a lovely space for both kids and adults. The kids really enjoyed the arts and crafts prepared and the games. The hand made decorations were just perfect!

We had our daughter's 10th birthday here last month, and it was brilliant! Helen is just lovely, so easy to work with, and really great with the kids. She also adapted the activities to the interests of the slightly older age group of kids we had at the party (much appreciated!). We've had nothing but rave reviews from all the kids who love the art pieces they made and gobbled up all of yummy food. Thank you so much, Helen! Caroline.

We celebrated our daughter's 6th birthday party here and loved it. It's a nice soothing venue with set activities and looks pretty with it's hand picked little decoratives. Helen is really involved with kids and knows how to make the birthday kid feel special (really appreciate it:). Recommend her disco lights and canvas art activities. Helen and her team organised my daughter birthday party in the Artea space last year. They have put together a number of age appropriate activities such as clay painting, pass the parcel, dancing that kept our birthday girl and her guests engaged and interested. The venue was decorated beautifully and there were nice refreshments for parents.
