Arma Shutter

They performed poorly on one of my properties. Despite their roller shutter claiming to decrease noise by 70%-90%, the noise level remained unchanged after installation. Their explanation blamed the roof, wall, or floor, not their roller shutter. It would have been better if they had informed the customer about potential limitations before undertaking the job. I do not recommend their services.

We were very happy with the 3 Roller Shuttles supplied by Arma. The boys who installed the shutters were reliable and very professional. They went over above what was required. We would highly recommend Arma Shutters to any future purchaser.

I have had my window shutters fixed over the years and the last bill (being 2020) was $146. I just had a small window shutter fixed and received an invoice for $473.00. When I called I was told everything has gone up. Company now has new owners so clearly their billing system has changed. There is now a call out fee of $136 on top of the labour charge which I was told was $75 per half hour. Seems this small window took nearly 3 hours to fix.as the labour was $280. The old owner used to fix it very quickly and only charged $146 in total. I know things have gone up but really but 324% within 2 years. Other reviewers claim they've asked for quotes and were denied. To top it all off, I booked a repair, had to wait 2 weeks, they never showed up, had to re-book and still they charge like wounded bulls. I strongly suggest using a different company if you want shutters or repairs. This is not the company it once was.

Rene was very polite on the phone, messaged to let us know he was 10mins away.
He quickly replaced the cable in the wall that retracts the roller blind.
The whole job was completed in 30mins and we couldn’t be happier.

IMPORTANT: Their product has only 1 year warranty. Just paid 211 for my second roller shutter issue after 15 months of installation. Purchased 3 window roller shutters. One failed to open within a year. Needed to wait couple of weeks for them to come to fix it. Now just passed 1 year, the second roller shutter failed to open. Had to wait for 1 month again to have their stuff to come because they were fully booked (to repair stuff?). That shows how the service is and the quality of the product. And they have only 1 year warranty on everything other than Motor. Only Motor has 5 year warranty. They didn't make this clear at the beginning.

1 star given only so that I can write a review. Arma shutters deserve no stars at all. I am a repeat customer and contacted armar shutters in January. So busy that I was given an appointment for 1st March. Miscommunication between office staff and repair workers they never showed. Since then I have had 3 more appointments and still no one has showed nor has anyone called me from the office. I won't waste any more of my time waiting at home for someone who obviously was never going to arrive. Never again will I refer business your way. Your current service is disgraceful

Found the service to be very good and friendly, loving the new shutters I had installed at the front of my house, helps keep the heat our of my front room on those hot days.

Recently had my whole house done, 7 windows all with motors and love it Helps block out the noise from my neighbour's who are into their cars.

I found the service to be very professional and they were very quick to reply to any questions I had, they were also able to offer me a package deal on the house which came in a lot cheaper to other quotes I received.

Had a security door installed at our house with problems right from the start. Repair man came to fix it & accused us of tampering with the screws. Terrible company! Complete rip-off & the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Avoid at all costs!

After my best mates home was burgled, i spoke to owner of Armashutter, i was asked to send in pics and measurements, which i did, my calls and email went unanswered, this job was a great job, to cover the whole house, unprofessional wouldnt even try to call them again, wasted our time, around 3 weeks.
