Archie's All Day

Don't know why this place is rated 4.4. I went on Saturday and from the moment I stepped in it was a series of bad experiences. The staff didn't seat us and left us waiting for minutes, the two staff were too busy flirting over a cup of latte art and ignored us standing at the front door waiting for service, so unprofessional. My partner's dish had plastic in it. We told the waitress and she said "I'll tell the chef" and that was the end of that story, didn't get a follow up. We asked for our coffee twice after waiting for ages, and we never ended up getting it, but was included in bill at the end.
Service here was very substandard, the staff here all had a bad attitude and didn't care about the patrons. Also the waffles with my chicken and waffles dish was so hard, and felt like a stale piece of deep fried batter lost at the bottom of the vat of oil. Never again.

Always a delicious meal here at Archie’s and my suggestion is to arrive early to beat the queues. Even if you have to wait, it’s definitely worth it.

My go to breakfast spot in Melbourne. One day I’ll be cool enough to take up their offer of breakfast cocktail. I always sit out the front on one of the tables in the street to watch the world go by and people watch but inside looks cute too. Staff very friendly and accommodating. When I’ve had to queue in the past it’s always moved quickly.

Great selection of food and beverages with attentive staff checking to see if we wanted more. Would gladly return. Be sure to call and book a table as it does get quite busy.

So good we sat outside in the cold (+ slight rain!) to eat here! If you’re in Melbourne you have to go!

Really delicious coffee and brunch food, plus amazing service! Was recommend via a ‘best cafes in Melbourne blog’ and didn’t disappoint!

Perfect location, lovely exterior sitting area. Food was incredible and the coffee was great too, but it did take a while (~50 mins) to arrive which was a shame. But other than that, perfect brunch spot and would come for food again.

Came here for breakfast. I ordered the Huevos Sucios (Dirty Eggs) - Tater tots, jalapeno spiked Monterey Jack, avocado & tomatillo salsa, black beans, fried eggs, chipotle mayo ($ 22).

The portion was huge, and the combination was perfect! It was the first time I had taters, so I loved the experience.

They serve excellent coffee.

Friendly staff, with fast service. Definitely coming back again.

Taking 2 stars off. One because the price was kind of a let down. $1.75 for a bit of tomato sauce to go with my burger? Hmmm no thanks. Another star gets taken off for the cheeseburger. It literally just tastes like a Big Mac. Could have saved my money and time.

Great food and staff, got the Korean chicken burger, cheeseburger and roasted chicken sandwich, all very nice. Great spot for lunch if you're in the area!

Yummy food, very popular though so there was quite the wait to get a table, food service took a while too. Enjoyed the dirty eggs.

We came here after reading the great reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was terrible, I ordered the Shakshuka and the eggs were old & rotten, they were black. I don't know how the chef missed that - having eaten a little bit before I noticed, while 6 months pregnant, I felt sick to my stomach.

The waitress took the food, apologised and took that meal off our bill. However, my husband couldn't even finish his meal after seeing that and we probably shouldn't have been charged at all for such an experience. Quite disappointed.

Food it’s good but a little bit expensive then tasty
Also hard to find parking place on weekends
And don’t recommend have a meal on outdoor bench it’s really dusty when tram pass the road

Had Yellowfin Tuna and it was really delicious, much better than I expected. Not oily nor seasoned too much. Cooked perfectly. Portion could be bigger though. Their smashed avo was good too.

Chenqui to the staff. I took my brother, Bilo, to Archies today. Bilo got the Chicken Waffles, and said they were VERY NAICE. I got the baked cornbread, was VERY NAICE. My food was better, and I ran around the cafe saying HE will never get this he will never get this. 5/5 stars, this is worth breaking the cage for. If I could bring my waife from Kazakstan, I would, just so she could get this. I hope to see you in Kazakstan so I can give you real authentic Kazakstan experience.

I think this place might be a little overrated - I can’t even remember what I had! Also quite expensive but it’s got a good vibe and I guess the cost is typical for this area of Melbourne.

Excellent choice for breakfast or lunch! Surprisingly they were kid friendly, although a tight squeeze.lovely backyard area, friendly staff and the food was ON POINT.oatmeal, teas and breakfast was delish and a nice surprise - the roast chicken dipped sandwich.yes.

Great customer service but I wasn’t a big fan of the food especially for the cost. The ocean trout meal was cold and lacking flavour in my opinion but the coffee was good
