ARANI Thai Restaurant

I called up this arvo expecting we probably wouldn’t get a table but they managed to squeeze in my partner and I on a busy night for a quick meal, we got there at 6: 20 and had our food and left by 7: 00. We were very impressed, the food was great and the service was good, prices were very fair too!

They take your order then make you wait an hour. Greed for cash over service. Eat before you order!

Ordering from Arani is extremely frustrating. They tell you it'll be ready in 30 minutes when it's really 45 minutes.
I made an order tonight to be picked up at 8: 30pm. I show up at 8: 30pm and they haven't even started making my food yet.
Your food is very good but I won't be coming back again due to the lack of service.

Despite an unassuming exterior, the room is nested in a rouge glow which perfectly matches the delightfully spiced red curry I ate at Arani Thai last night. Friendly staff and inexpensive. The pineapple rice had too little pineapple and too much onion (imo)

Spent $106 dollars on what was suppose to be Thai food. Utterly revolting. Not even the dogs ate this. The food does not resemble anything remotely close to Thai food. The Pad Thai was the worst attempt Ive ever had the displeasure to taste, Curries that are not even close to authentic full of cheap cunks of frozen veg and no meat.
This is hands down the most over valued, terrbile food ive purchased.
The staff however were lovely when we were ordering.

As a Vegan I find it hard to go somewhere with more than 1 option, Arani has a whole vegan menu when asked with plenty of options. The food was amazing and well priced. Staff were also really warm and friendly and kept making sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend trying this place out!

We waited for more than an hour for our foods. That female on her 40s staff was rude even though we asked/follow up our order nicely. I was a fan of Arani but never again.

Extremely helpful staff, comfortable dining, delicious food and well priced. Book in advance is it can get very busy. It's up there with the best of the Thai Restaurants. We had great Gang Massaman with Beef curray, Satay Chicken and Roti.

I gave order, but when I got and open at hotel very different. Food very salty and oily also. I ate many places Thai food (because I love it) I ever never eat like this bad food. My order and they gave to me. I am showing now.

Tasty pad phrik and green curry. The coconut rice was a bit more like pudding, though! Well priced and quick despite being busy.

Chicken pad Thai was delicious! I ordered it through Uber pick up and the service was fantastic!
PS- i ordered Hot pad Thai it was not too spicy for me maybe next time I will try Thai spicy.

Very good meals, have had long waits for takeaway beyond estimates and on the pricey side for Thai, but well worth it!

FANTASTIC FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE! Hadn't been here for a while but we will now need to return regularly. Such amazingly attentive service from start to finish! We were asked about three times if we were happy with everything or needed anything else. Our drinks and meals came out quickly and all staff were super lovely. Plus the food is just DELICIOUS! BYO wine as well which makes for a cheap night out. Highly recommend!

Four of us enjoyed different choices from the large menu and we were all pleased. Food was attractively served and delicious. Servings were a good size and prices good. The small restaraunt was busy with all tables taken even on a Thursday night. We would have preferred all four meals to come out closer together as the first person had almost finished before the 4th was served. Also, the beef was quite tough. Otherwise, were were very pleased and will return. Staff were helpful.

We had takeaway and the three of us ate till we could eat no more because it was delicious, best in Geelong

Unfriendly service in an awful hurry to get you in and out. Entree and mains all come out together. First impression of the food was it was generous portions but once started on you realise it is all vegetables and not much (we ordered seafood) seafood at all. Food lacked true thai flavours. Tasted very very salty. Charge an extra fee for paying with card. Would not recommend.

Delicious food with a separate vegan menu. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. A really great night out.

Not sure about all the good reviews, I ordered a pineapple fried rice via Ubereat today, asked for a takeaway cutlery set (as I stayed in a hotel) but they didn't provide, things started to go downhill quickly since this. The fried rice was terrible, not authentic Thai food and the worst pineapple fried rice I have ever had! The chicken was so dried, the tumeric flavour was overpowering (which they shouldnt put in) and not sure why there are cashew nuts and sultana in pineapple fried rice? Didnt even finish the meal, really wanted to ask for a refund.terrible experience in Geelong.

Always go here for Thai and it never fails to deliver excellent food. Tried ordering with Uber Eats for the first time; and I was pleasantly surprised how quickly it arrived. It was fresh, hot and delicious! Very impressed. Definitely recommend if you are after authentic, fresh Thai!

We ordered online through Uber eat. The Lamb curry was awful with tough meat and mainly chunky potatoes. Should have been a vegetarian curry. The delivery person just left it outside the door, didn't knock or ring the doorbell. Not ordering from them again.
