Very unprofessional service, someone has called us today and said that "we are fully booked out and You have to call us even you have booked on line 3 days ago " but there was no saying such as that in the email. I told them" pls cancel and we will give a review and he said" no problem we will reply back "very arrogant and disrespectful behaviour not being expected from a typical middle eastern hospitality NOT recommended, have seen some 1 star review too so I am not the only one.

The Lamb Magluba was absolutely insane. Highly recommended. Lamb was cooked perfect. So much flavour. Definitely eating there weekly.

Went to Iftar today amazing open buffet, authentic Jordanian/ Palestinian food.
One of the top middle Easter cuisine in Melbourne, highly recommended!

Misleading and highly unprofessional attitude of staff. I made a booking 2 days ago for an Iftar Buffett which is advertised on their page. At the time of making a booking and getting confirmation, nothing was mentioned about the advance payment, neither it was mentioned on advertisement banner. On the Iftar day right before 4 hrs, restaurant staff called and threatened to cancel the booking at last minute (when I got no option left) if I don’t give them my card details over the phone right away to confirm the booking. Nothing was mentioned at the time of taking booking and the staff who called wasn’t apologetic at all for their fault, instead started threatening to cancel my booking and giving it to someone else. Very unprofessional attitude. Upon asking why it wasn’t communicated earlier, a guy replied “I don’t have time to argue, if you wana proceed with the booking, pay now else we will need to cancel it”. All they were interested was in my bank card details over the phone without giving me any other options to pay, or without giving me a privacy statement regarding use of my card.

Lovely and quick service.
The hummus/baba ganush platter is very good and big enough for 2, however, the main meat dish ($58) is too spicy and hot for a range of different meats (chicken and lamb skewers, cutlets, sausages and rice with zaattar), and a bit overpriced for the content.

It’s ok rather average atmosphere, it’s difficult to get comfortable unless you have a booth. Shisha is ok as well. 7: 10

Authentic Jordanian Mansaf and Meditation
food. They offer Ramadan Iftar and prayer space upstairs.

This is my go to cafe on my way to work, usually purchasing a latte and something to munch on. Starting with the coffee to which the owner is very proud of and rightly so, it is a fantastic brew and for only $3 for a regular, you cannot go wrong. I usually get the large which is enough for me. The food is also great. Arabic staples are always on offer, but there's also muffins which are quite decadent and delicious also. I'll keep coming back.

The upstairs Argileh room had an awesome ambiance with dimed lights and cushions to smoke and drink on. The mixed grill option was great but the stand out was the Sahlab drink (a warm and creamy coconut pistachio mix), you must try it if you haven't before.

Paid 35 dollars for a grape and mint head, lasted about an hour and a half between two people. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a well looked after Shisha experience with great hip hop music and vibe.

Pricy place with average food. May be it expensive because of its location. There are no enough lights inside.

Arabesque was and will be my best hanging out place.
The food is fantastic and the portions are huge, enough to share between two. The prices are right and sometimes feels too low for a delicious grand meal. The staff are friendly and very respectful, the atmosphere is amazing. Highly recommend, sad to see bad reviews for an amazing place like Arabesque.

Always a good place for shisha in the city. Highly recommend their middle eastern food.

Having said that, ensure you have cash on you if you plan on having shisha as they have recently changed policy and will only take cash payments for shisha. Be aware there is an ATM on premisis but it costs $2 to get cash out from it.

Other than the above, they accept card for everything else including drinks and food.

Food is good but the service is very very very slow. Be prepared to spend at least an hour and a half to have an ordinary meal.

Origionally rated 5 stars but the service and Shisha quality has gone really down so re-rating.
Staff is very unfriendly, we had fresh fruit Shisha for $40.it was the worst I have ever had.not worth at all for its price. We requested they fix it as it was partly choked, the staff said there is nothing left in it and we would have to pay for new head.
There are much better and reasonably priced places around melbourne.

Waited 1 hour for our burgers, have to call take out instead of dine in cuz have other things need to do at later night. Extremely under-staffed and inefficient, other customers have had their meals first even tho we came earlier then them.

Before the food came, one of the chef came out to apologize for the wait, and the cashier gave us two free soft drinks to go. The staffs are friendly and food is good, but there's just too little staff to manage food and customers.
