Cannot rave more highly about the staff at Doncaster Apple! Have been in twice now (once with a booked appointment and today we just walked in) and have been So impressed with the staff’s patience- my 88 year old Mother wanted a smart watch (for the fall detection feature) but her existing phone wasn’t new enough so we upgraded that too! Harry and Kawai were Brilliant! Step by step instructions and no question was too stupid for them! Unlike the Optus store- staff there were So dismissive of my mother! Thank you Team Apple!

Wait forever for service -: COVID ERA but brain damage not required. Only reason they even got 2 star was junior Manager assisted in partially activating. Had problems in past warranty see U out the door. Send to China to breakdown NEW PRODUCTS PLEASE - Wanted appointment but was told must get on GENIUS MEMBER CLUB

I don't know why I bothered with an appointment. There was no dedicated appointment queue, there were crowds of people hoping to attract the attention of a staff member. There were at least three staff members who came out from the back office and decided to chat amongst themselves, saw the crowd and then walked back inside. I left and made an appointment with a smaller authorised Apple reseller and got better and more personable service.

Customer experience is terrible at this store. Went to get a replacement for my apple iphone 13 case that was peeling off just after 2 weeks. Was told to do it via the supplier even after showing them the receipt. This isn’t the first time I have bad experience with this store last time they refused to cover the iPhone screen which end up having it done by Chadstone store. Not recommended at all.

Even though I made a shopping appointment, the rude staff did not let be browse until I find what I was looking for. How am I supposed to tell them what I am after, when i wasn’t given the opportunity to browse through the products? Not only that, but the staff watches over you like a hawk all the time, even when you don’t need them. No other technology store has the same entry requirements or browsing bans. Very disappointed, will not shop here any time soon!

The person was more focused on wrapping up the 15 minute appointment than on providing a resolution. My new iPhone keeps overheating when I use it for more than 10-15 minutes and the “Genius” said it could be because it’s summer. I’ve had multiple iPhones for many summers now and never had any issues with overheating.

Apple lost a $646.00 credit when I returned a watch and now can’t find it. Terrible service disguised with a friendly smile. Suggest customers get even the simplest thing in writing. How does your system lose a $646.00 return credit and then your team not care to assist?

Extremely unsatisfied with the way that one employee called Jim handled my phone during a data transfer. He was extremely impatient and rude, at one point he even opened my photos gallery without asking, intruding my personal privacy.

To quote Seinfeld, they know how to make an appointment, they just don’t know how to keep the appointment………so if I arrive 10 mins early I still have to wait 30 mins for service. Ridiculous. Also, at the first visit I was told all I needed to do was to come back to have my EarPods checked. Second visit - needed proof of purchase. So wasted time TWICE! Why couldn’t they have said this in the first place?

Had to get my iPhone11 display fixed. Staff were helpful and got it done quickly. I had forgotten my Apple ID password and they sorted it out for me. Thanks for fixing my phone!

Today I went to their shop to repair my Apple Pencil. Then he dropped my Apple Pencil without apologizing, so he took my things in and repaired it in less than 5 minutes. When I got it, I suspected that this Apple Pencil was not mine, but the staff said it was indeed me. I checked again at home and that it was indeed not my Apple Pencil. He really exchanged it for me and the nib was very dirty. My Apple Pencil had it before I went out. I checked that the nib is clean and I have only bought it for a month and used it less than 10 times.
Hope to get a reasonable response

Always way too busy, not enough staff and wait times are crazy. The team are always really friendly and I feel bad that they are so understaffed.

Bought an iPad here in 2017, the microphone fails within 3 years and they reject to repairs it since it is out of 2 year warranty. Very disappointed to get such defective from apple

Too crowded, less number of staff to take care of you. Need more number of staff and a better organised way to provide the services.

The store manager - Daniel Lee - was so rude and unprofessional. He has no clue about customer service or of the products and polices of apple. My issue has been escalated within apple for resolution. I would never expect to find this type of person working for apple. Unfortunately, this leadership is permeating what used to be one of apple's better stores. It is now on the list of find somewhere else to get help.

An update - Apple support in the US took one look at the issue and replaced the phone. They apologised for the misguided support at the Apple store and said they would be retraining the staff. I hope things are better now. I now use Android (Samsung) and love the phone and service

I’ve booked appointment to trade in my iPhone XS last week and the guy name Michael was doing the customer service in regards to that.he said you will get $80 in trade in…by the way my phone screen and body was in perfect condition and also I’ve checked with Apple support over the website and they told me you will get $320 off with trade in. I’ve explained that to him and after sometime he said yes you will get $320 off. Apart from that, he charged me twice for the screen protector for the phone I purchased and he said I’ll do refund…even Michael forgot to give my simcard back from my old phone which I gave in trade in…he was in so much rush and I had the worst experience at this store…luckily I purchased the back case and he said sorry have you got your sim back…and at the end I got my simcard back…. Ruined my day…I think that guy need some more training. Hope this review will be helpful for future shoppers…Thanks

I arrived at 8am and was told the battery would be ready for replacement at 1015am (2 hours later). I was dropped off so I had nowhere else to go.

I was told to drop in from time to time to see if it was ready earlier. I did this and on one occassion one of the "helpers" told me they would send me a text when it was ready! I laughed at this comment as they had my mobile!

I returned at 1015am only to be told it would be a further 15 minutes (because they were just "finishing it off" - what ever that means?).

The phone was ready at 11: 04am some 3 hours plus after dropping it off.

Perhaps Apple should provided an online drop off and pickup time to improve customer service.

Overall a very ordinary effort from all involved.
