Apollo Bay Eco YHA reviews
32This is a great little place to stay in apollo bay, with comfortable bedrooms, a nice clean and well laid out kitchen, several TV and lounge rooms and a rooftop space. An easy walk from the restaurants, pubs and shops. It's easy to miss it and drive past on your first time though.
Do not recommend. They make you remove the bedsheets and pillow sheets to go and put into a trolley. Like really?
Very lovely and home feeling place. We worked there for accommodation for a few months and Gail and John are the best people. YHA has everything you need for living and Apollo Bay is a very nice place to live in on the Great Ocean Road. ️
Lovely place to stay. They have got all facilities like kitchen, a meeting room for groups, tv room and also have board games and a lot of CDs.
Really good accomodation. Very close to, but not in the commercial area. Close to the beach, breakwater, and good food sources.
It has shared laundry rooms, big kitchens on each floor. Bathrooms and toilets are shared, too. Bedrooms are clean. Staffs are are very nice. It may not be the hot season at this time, when I walked around at about 8 pm and found Apollo Bay Eco YHA has more room lighted then other hotels in town.
We had a good stay at Apollo Bay Eco YHA, while driving on the Great Ocean Road. Since we reached late after check-in hours, the hostel staff made sure we are able to get our keys by leaving an envelope at the closed counter. The private room we stayed in was nice but a bit minimalistic and had less space. The shared washrooms and the common areas were good. The town of Apollo Bay is so beautiful, I wish we had at least one more day to spend here.
Great facilities, great location but on a busy weekend in town it was mighty expensive to stay here in a room with bunks and one seat. Not YHA value for money.
Fantastic hostel with a wide variety of rooms to suit your needs. Excellent and homey facilities aswell. Highly recommend
Great place to stay, convenient for Great Ocean Road trips, and with a good focus on staying eco friendly.
Best YHA in Victoria. Great location, super friendly eco hostel. John and Gail are great hosts.
Chose the 4 people shared room and the room wasn’t super big but it was ample enough in which each person have a bed and personal drawer. Cleanliness and comfort is really worthy for the already affordable price for a good night rest in Apollo Bay. Kitchen is massively well equipped and they have everything there. There’s also a decent size tv room and a big reading room with a big fire heater which can come in real handy during winter. Toilets were limited as there was only one cubicle and two shower rooms for men. Parking is ample around the hostel as well.
