With such a wide variety of places to eat in & around Anglesea - the Anglesea golf club is so far at the bottom of the list that I strongly suggest that you buy some McCain’s vegetables & half cook a chicken breast - then serve both cold. It would be more enjoyable than this restaurant
Note we were told last year that the management & chef was changing - I just assumed it was going to be for the better. Sadly disappointed & never going back.

Very nice golf course with great views toward ocean. The kangaroo sighting course seemed interesting as they said they take you up really close to the animals but you can literally see them hopping around as you can see in my picture:) - saved $12 dollars pp. Beautiful place with friendly staff.

We took the Kangaroo Tour from the Golf Club for $12.50 an adult. We were driven around in a buggy by volunteer Alan who was also very know
knowledgeable and we saw 40 - 50 kangaroos getting to within 10 to 12 ft of them
It was superb and another 'must see' item ticked off.

We stayed at a local air bnb for my husbands birthday a few years ago. On his birthday we went here for lunch. My husband had a double lung transplant a year earlier & due to his suppressed immune system, whenever he has a side salad, it needs to be thoroughly re-rinsed just before it is served to him. He made this request when he put in his lunch order. A few minutes later, some white haired guy came out from the kitchen, furious. Instead of being professional & taking the time to enquire why, he very rudely, in a loud voice said "what's this about a salad needing to be washed. Of course our salads have been washed. " before storming back into the kitchen. I personally was ready to cancel our order & find somewhere else to eat, but most of our group of 7, said not to let one persons rudeness bother us. Although the meal was pleasant enough, I would never return out of principle.

Very good proshop servive & after game drink in nice atmosphere. Golf course in excellent condition given the dry weather. A very challenging course.

As a holiday home owner in Anglsea I have been to the golf club many times with friends and family - many times and found it well priced and good quality, it appears the chef/management has changed. My salmon was served with off calamari, the coleslaw was very bland at $30 I certainly would have expected better. The children’s menu has been reduced (no parmigiana) and the children’s menu no longer comes with a drink.or the salad /vegetables chalice.we will heading to the pub next time

Amazing place! Beatrice has shown us these wonderful creatures - kangaroos! Glad that they are kept here safe and wild at the same time! Great experience:)

Great kangaroos and our tour guide (Eames - I'm hoping I've got the name right) was extremely knowledgeable and very happy to answer our many questions. Top place. Nice pub/bistro too, good collection of beers.

Beautiful course with some lovely kangaroo spectators. Definitely worth a stop if you're heading to the Great Ocean Road and have time for a round. If you're playing 18, make sure you get a cart!

Love this place. The course is great and the kangaroos make it very interesting. Not to mention a great parma at the end.

This is a great place offered by Australia. It has the Australia most famous marsupial mammal, that is kangaroos in abundance in it's natural habitat. One can come here and capture oneself with kangaroos, and specially click selfies with them.

I came to play golf. After the 18th hole, when I took a photo of kangaroos, I was expelled by the guide (an old man). It made me feel very angry!

The club rooms and dining area very good. Golf course needs to be sign posted better. No direction of next hole, no direction of which way the fairways goes eg: 10th hole green appears to be directly in front of you but it is a dog leg to the left. It has 150 and 100 metre but not on every hole or they are not visible. Side markers would be ideal. $45 is is a little expensive comparatively to other courses, but fairways and greens were well maintained accept for Roo droppings on green. Would recommend for others to play here, but just needs a little basics done.

Nice surrounds. Meals are reasonable but mine was barely warm, and rather light on barramundi (Oven baked barramundi with vegetables) whilst my wife's chicken rissoto was light on chicken and very hot. Can't complain about the temperature of hers, but shows poor time management in the kitchen.

Really nice tour for watching kangaroos in the (semi) wild. You'll be going around with a golf car and a volunteer will guide you through the park for just AUD10 per person.

This is a typical example of a 5 star country golf club in Australia. Challenging golf course, affordable price for 18 holes. After drinks in clubhouse were great, with vibrant community atmosphere. Of course, the kangaroos. Worth a ride around the course. Get there.
