Angaara - Indian Cuisine Redefined

Just had fantastic Dinner at Angara restaurant in Trugnina. Awesome food and best service time. Specially Neetu in floor staff very helpful with great knowledge about menu items.

The best in the town. Authentic taste and that too without colour. We have never had such delectable dishes ever in Melbourne. Malai Chaap reminded me of Wah bhai Wah in India. Dal Makhani and Balti Paneer were really good as well. Pretty good ambience and spacious yoo. For sure this will be our go to restaurant in future.

Ordered schezwan chicken fried rice for takeaway. Although it was fresh but completely tasteless. They gave me a small bottle of mango lassi for paying in cash however the lassi was stale and smelly! Not going/ordering again.

Wonderful food first time eating here and will definitely come back, tandoori chicken cooked to perfection

Went on the weekend and was so disappointed, I went thinking I was going to one of the highly acclaimed Angaan restaurants and got the name wrong as it’s so similar. Be very careful not to do the same if you’re looking for the original and best Indian restaurant, it’s not this one.
Do yourselves a favour and do go to the original, this will only disappoint for quality freshness, flavour and service. The original is definitely the best!

I can’t find anything good to say. I wish I had walked out when I realised I had mistakenly thought this was the other restaurant but I rather than ordered to be honest, should have saved my money, but I thought I would give them a go. Regrettably.

A lovely restaurant, I eat here most nights. Food is beautifully presented, generous portions, fresh, clean, and very tasty. Super friendly staff. Highly recommended this place.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions. Excellent food! From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding, dahi bhalla, kadai paneer, fried rice and noodles were the best meals I have ever been served. This restaurant will be my first option for celebrations due to their delightful and professional service.

I specially recommended to my friends but it was really disappointment. Food taste was very bad and it was not look fresh.

Had dahi puri and bhalla papri chaat from angara it was beautiful. Loved the experience will surely come in the future. Pls keep it up!

The food is really good, we tried the non-veg platter n it was super tasty and the quantity was more than enough.we didn't have to wait to collect our order which was impressive.once the lockdown is over we could certainly come to dine in as it was beautifully decorated and we loved the taste of the food we have tried as far.

Did a takeaway.food quality & taste is real bad.they disgustingly changed the definition of garlic cheese naan. The chicken curries were tasted like made and stored for months… I almost throw up.they really need to work on food quality to keep up with ongoing standards.but surely not going back.

4 star. Outstanding Taste. Finally a decent indian restaurant has arrived in Western suburbs. I ordered fish masala & bhuna gosht (gosht means GOAT. NO CHICKEN OR LAMB). Only suggestion please increase the quantity of fish or increase the size of fish. I only had 6 small pieces of fish and in fish masala- I don't want too look for fish.it should be there visible.
I believe if you use frozen fish.you guys need to increase the quantity or size of fish.in your Fish Dish.
Apart from above.will order again and will dine in after lock down (see hows your customer service I s?)

Great food. The quality of food was great eleven we took away and consumed an hour later. Cannt wait for lock down to end and experience dine in.

Amazing food and welcoming staff, curries are a must try here, loved the Punjabi Butter Chicken and Lamb Korma.

Flavours of curries were spot on, the meat was melt in the mouth and cooked to perfection, the naans were soft and cooked perfectly. Great service by staff and we will definitely be back for more! The venue has a great ambience and cant wait to dine in with the family.

Wish i could give ANGARA 11 out of 5 such an amazing food we ordered 4 different meals and every single meal was mouth watering Punjabi butter chicken, palak paneer, lamb chop and chicken noodle yummy, this restaurant is for foodie's

I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala for dinner tonight and found chicken piece in curry and being a vegetarian it was so disappointing so I called to restaurant to inform about. The lady who attended the call she does not know how to handle the customer complaint. I wasn't looking for free replacement of curry but that lady offered sorry and said it shouldn't been happened, I will inform to him. She did not even show any courtesy by offering replacement curry.
I strongly not recommend this restaurant for vegerarian.

The most amazing indian restaurant I've been to in Melbourne, had chat papadi that was made just the way we had in India, Angaara chap was amazingly delicious with a spicy blast in it's taste. Also the curries are undoubtedly the best, having visited every restaurant in Truganina I've never had a better Indian food experience. Can't wait to dine in again', amazing job guys!
