Angaara - Indian Cuisine Redefined

Worst customer service ever, took booking but didn’t allowed us to eat. If they know that they are going to close soon why taking bookings. It was my birthday and they did this. Not reliable at all guys don’t trust them.

Not reliable at all. Even after booking in advance and having a confirmation, they denied us entry.

The food was good. I haven't seen this much quantity anywhere else in Melbourne. The problem we had was we booked our table before arriving in Angaara and we still had to wait for 30-40 minutes.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Angaara, and boy, did they satisfy my craving for crispy and spicy goodness! The lovely servers Raj suggested their Manchurian with semi-gravy, and it was a match made in food heaven. But here's the kicker—they were willing to accommodate my quirky request of having the gravy and crispy Manchurian served separately! Who does that? Angaara, that's who! I felt like a food wizard, assembling my own culinary masterpiece right at the table. Kudos to them for going the extra mile and making my dining experience both delicious and entertaining. Thank you, Angaara, for giving me the power to customize my Manchurian destiny!

7 years in Melbourne I have been trying to a place that gives good chilly chicken and angara has done justice to the dish. Compliments to the chef. Chicken lollipop was great too. Will be surely be coming back to try more, keep up the taste!

Expensive food but the taste was not that good as the price mentioned. But would recommend to go with family and friends to spend some quality time

It was good but the main staff throw the bills on the customer face. They don't want to hand over the bills in polite way.yesterday night i was there for dinner with family, rather then hand over the bill to me they throw on table. And it was really disappointed me. Anyways food was good but biryani like mixed rice with mutton. Not cook properly.

Had a great experience here with friends, the staff were very friendly. The food came out quick, hot and fresh. Everything was delicious for us definitely recommend!

Great local gem in truiganina, all the wait staff were very helpful, food was delicious and portions were descent as well. I will love to say that it dining in here was total value for money.

Wanted to dine here but the ambience looked super uncomfortable. Huge groups drinking and were super loud. Not ideal for family and kids.

Not a family restaurant! We had dinner with family with young kids and wife’s but we were sitting next to two tables with over 30 fully drunken people who made the situation awkward for the family and young ones. I am not sure why restaurant owner allowed such a big gang who had more than 10 bottles for whisky to consume in a family restaurant. Not coming back back guys! Food was good but you got it all wrong… it was a worst experience in a city like Melbourne. Shame on you to allow such kind of nuisance your nice restaurant.

Good quality Indian food with authentic flavours. Menu consists of wide range of Indian cuisines. Quality and quantity both comes with a reasonable price tag. Very busy place. Always book in advance to avoid long waiting times.

Absolutely terrible experience. We reserved a table for 6 persons 2 hours before hand, when we arrived we where made to stand aside for around about 10 minutes give or take, afterwards we were given a plastic fold table covered by a cheap party plastic cover next to the toilets (which themselves where out of order). This treatment was more infuriating, as we could clearly see proper tables that where not being used, and when we asked if we could use those they said that “we would keep those tables aside for when larger groups come in. ” Overall, we left without dining there tonight as our whole mood to dine there was ruined.

I dined in at Angaara for the first time and really its worth it and will surely live to visit again. Very good food! Tried different dishes and all of them had very good taste. The staff is really friendly and cooperative. Highly recommend it…

Went with a group of friends for dinner last night and it was a good experience. I’m a big fan of daal makhani and this restaurant is definitely on my list for it from now onwards. Also every other dish was well cooked & tasty including the platters.
They mistakenly gave our veg platter to another table which lead to a late serve but the staff communicated it politely & in timely manner. Otherwise service was good based on how extremely busy it was.
