Andrew's Hamburgers

I won't review the burgers and the taste, had a standard chicken burger, it was good as every other burger place is.working just a few blocks away from this place, and after 6 months I decided to give it a try and sadly the owner didn't treat me well just because I didn't know much about the burgers and just asked "what's Souvlaki? ", and it didn't take more than a second before he said if you're unsure about your choice here is the menu, go and sit outside and then let us know what you want. The tone wasn't good, I don't want to judge people, maybe he had a bad day or was busy with something else but that's not the right way to treat a customer, thanks to the girl assistant who was there and she noticed the bad behaviour and helped me choose the right burger, I gave her the menu and said I don't know what are these and I'm not much familiar with the burgers, make something with veggies and stuff, that'll be fine.
I felt so bad, and I'm sure the owner noticed that too. It's not always about the taste or the food quality, it's about the vibe, the way you attract new customers and how you welcome the new ones, and the people inside could tell that I have no idea what I'm ordering and that would just take less than a minute to explain, again thanks to the girl I got what I wanted, but the owner should rethink about the way he treats new customers.
I should apologise saying these, but I just couldn't ignore the way I felt afterwards, it was humiliating having another three customers inside and saying that to me.
I might come back later just to say hi and thank the girl but certainly not to eat.

would go back again and pay $15 for a hamburger.

Awesome quality burgers and the wait times are reasonable. Many choices and great vegie options Will come back again!

Never replace a veggie patty in a veggie burger with potato cakes. I still can’t comprehend what the person thought when doing this

In future please call the person So they can change their order instead of being disappointed and missing out because potato cakes in a burger is actually disgusting

Haven’t had a burger from Andrew’s for a while an it really hit the spot last night. Great favour as always Greg.

Horrible customer service. Barely warm burgers. Cold chips. If you're new to the area, do yourself a favour and give this place a miss.

One of the best burger shops out there and you can see all the photos of famous chefs on the wall. Last time we had them as take away and by the time we got home the bun had disinterested and it wasn't as good as it should be. Fries were good but stay away of the potato cake thing on the side menu.

Sensational burgers made with love & wholesome ingredients. They have that old school home made taste & every bit is filled with flavour. I will definitely be back again!

Nice burgers. Only recent complaint was the bun was a little dry (not quite stale but feeling like heading that way). Not so big that I wouldn't have again.

Imagine a burger that is made with simple honest ingredients. Is everything a burger should be and fills you with hope for the world.if you can imagine such a burger, then you know what your in store for.

I don't get it. Seriously, I've been trying for years. It bugs the hell out of me. Maybe I order the wrong burgers.maybe they've just been overtaken by the surge in burger offerings over the last 5-10 years. Not bad, just not great either. Sorry!

If you want to try a very nice burger with all fresh ingredients give it a try worth the money worth the taste.

Best burgers in town with amazing customer service. Because I had a crying baby at home, I decided to order with deliveroo for a change and the deliveroo driver dropped off a bag of rubbish instead of the burger. He must have decided to eat my burger and had enough of his deliveroo career. Of course this had nothing to do with Andrew's, and they were so kind to make another burger straight away. Thanks again for your generosity and tasty food:)

WITHOUT A DOUBT THE GREATEST BURGERS EVER MADE! JUST AS GREAT ARE THE CHIPS! UNFORTUNATELY, ONCE YOU TASTE THE FOOD IN ANDREW'S HAMBURGERS SHOP, EVERY BURGER AND CHIPS AFTER THAT IS SECOND BEST. TRUE!

A bit of an institution in Melbourne. Excellent chips and old school burgers. A few out side tables but best to take away.

Ordered on UberEats with some colleagues, delivery time wasn’t bad but the food left something to be desired. Additionally they forgot to pack a chips and drink into the order. Can not recommend ordering via UberEats

Love Andrews burgers. This is a local institution and while many might wonder what the fuss is about this is a great place to get an authentic Aussie style burger. Bacon, egg, bbq sauce, the works. Chips are always great and the burgers are awesome. First place we visited after 5 months travelling in Europe.

Was impressed by the reviews and decided to see this little amazing hamburger house. Variety of delicious large-size hamburgers and fresh chips are served. Definitely a saved place to revisit

I have been coming here for years because they are amazing and consistent. A great selection from traditional to the spicy Sanchez option. Always busy which is a clear sign they have a strong following. Order in advance is my biggest tip and their timing is generally spot on (the time they tell over the phone). If you are in the area don’t miss the opportunity as you will regret it - the burgers are amazing.

Burger wasn't as good as I remember last time (about a year ago). The lot ordered - bun was a bit dry and crumbly. Lots of ingredients falling out as a result. Still quite tasty and good value but wouldn't make a special trip.
