The staff was so helpful in finding my wedding gown. The store is beautiful and I felt like a princess trying on my dress. Loved every minute.

MUST VISIT IN BRIDAL STORE! I travelled from Melbourne after having bad experiences everywhere I went with the well known stores.
This boutique is 10000000 starts! Such a fantastic experience. The girls Rebbecca and Bronwyn looked after me from start to finish and I was so happy to find the perfect gown in their store. After I arrived 15 minutes late (sorry!) I was overwhelmed with the selection and the teams knowledge on the dresses. We had a chat and they got to know me and my wedding and then showed me an amazing selection of White Aprils and Zavania gowns and were such a delight to have look after me. I’m very indecisive and the girls were able to pin point exactly what I was after and pull just perfect gowns for my shape and my idea of what I wanted. The girls made me feel comfortable and I truely felt cared for and understood. I was lucky to land a booking for the pre order event and I even got a free gift and a discount and a bottle of wine. They took my pic and shared it on their social media and I was able to show it off to my family (as due to corona they couldn’t come). The AND THE VEIL girls were my family when I was in. Thank you thank you thank you. I’ll be telling everyone about your fantastic services. And the girls also offer afterpay on your wedding dress and I can pay it off until next year! Some girls dream of their wedding day and shopping for that special dress — but this wasn’t my experience growing up and I was dreading having to go dress shopping. I needn’t have worried because Bronwyn and her team were so kind and patient, helping me try on dress after dress. They also provided plenty of helpful advice about travelling with it for our elopement and I loved the White April gown that I ended up going with.

Little things like online booking made it all a breeze and I’m also really grateful for their “love at first sight” discount, which helped bring the cost of my dress a little closer to budget.

Things started out great originally I was happy with how things were going. But closer to the wedding my bridesmaids picked up their dresses and were overcharged on the original invoice price I had to call up and ask for a refund for the over charge. My biggest disappointment was the mess of a flower girl dress I received. I originally ordered a dress from one of the designers who went into liquidation. I was then told the dress could be made by them the same as the original using some embellishments off of one of the dresses in store (floor stock) I waited patiently for it to be made i ordered well in advance 9mths before the wedding so plenty of time. The month before the wedding I called up as I had previously been told the dress was almost ready but still no date as to when. I advised I need it by the end of February as the wedding was mid-end of March we received it the first week of March and it was a mess. The dress cost $350 and looked cheap and nasty. The ivory fabric was yellow not ivory as it should be it looked age stained or like it had been sitting near sunlight. The fabric was poor quality and the number of layers was lacking compared to the original. It looked like a Chinese online purchase it was that poorly made with poor quality fabrics. There was no glitter tulle fabric like the original, in place was run of the mill organza no sparkle at all. I only agreed to the dress being made originally when the order fell through as they guaranteed they could make it the same as the original. Now I didn’t expect it to be exactly the same but at least of the same quality for what was paid. I was extremely disappointed and there was no sorry at all just excuses which was even more disappointing. I believe it was left until last minute as they knew the quality was lacking and was hoping I had no other choice but to use the horrible dress. I returned for a refund and luckily found one at Ollie’s place for $70 which was 10 times better quality than what was produced from here.

*In response this is my first and only review and my family have not left a review that I’ve been made aware of so no idea what you mean by that and it is factual. I have left reviews for all my vendors. I’m aware of the quality of the item and it was poor hence the refund which is stated in my review and also stated the overcharge was refunded once I mentioned the overcharge. I have listed nothing here that is untrue this is my experience with your store this was less than 2yrs ago. It’s honest and exactly what happened. If you feel the need to use solicitors that’s your choice but nothing I have stated is untrue so I don’t see where you are going with that.

I don't normally give reviews but I cannot thank you all enough.
I just wanted to say a massive thank you and give my biggest recognition and recommendation to your store. I got married Saturday just gone and thank you to the ladies at and the veil, wore a dress of my dreams.
I was one of those brides who left dress shopping to the last possible minute.
I went to every store across Geelong and was only offered their store samples, the girls at and the veil communicated with their designers and was able to provide me many options that would arrive in time for my wedding with plenty of time for alterations and customisations.
I ordered a Luna willow bridal gown and both and the veil and the designer were amazing. They kept me informed along the way and went out of their way to open on their Christmas holidays for me to pick up my dress.
I also want to mention the store and how beautiful it is, so many sizes and so many styles. It was an amazing experience and truly the best place in Geelong to shop for your dress. Kind team and really great dresses.

Thank you for my appointment yesterday. I cannot reccomend the store highly enough.
The team answered all my questions and found me the perfect dress. I tried on a style I didn’t think I liked and ended up saying yes to the Luna willow dress.
I also used the shop after pay over 18 months and it was so easy and through a provider I already had an account with and it took less than a minute for approval.

Hi ladies,
I was amazed last weekend saying yes to the dress with the and the veil team - it was the most incredible experience I could've ever had bridal shopping. In the store, there are so many gowns and in so many sizes (I am roughly a size 24 and I was able try on gowns too big for me) it is so great to have a store that is inclusive of women of all sizes. The ladies were real, respected my budget and my ideas.
The experience was so different from the other shops, it was so warm and personal and intimate. I cannot recommend this store enough.

My experience at And The Veil was amazing from start to finish. There are so many dresses for plus size brides like me, they really go out of their way to find dresses that look amazing on all size girls.
I said yes to the dress to a sparkly Zavana dress with the ladies last weekend and even got a custom change on my dress so it is one of a kind. Cant wait. Thank you so so much ladies for your expertise.

Well where to start with how disappointed I was with my bridal appointment.
I had found a dress I like elsewhere, but as that was the only place I had been I wanted to see all my options and enjoy a morning of wedding dress shopping with my mum who had flown over from overseas especially for this! I had barely tried on the first dress there and was told that I need to stop looking and to leave and go buy the dress at the other shop! I was absolutely gobsmacked. Sure, I had found something elsewhere that was beautiful, but what if your shop had something that I loved even more, now I will never know because your staff told me not to try on any more dresses! Your job is to help people find a wedding dress, and what a waste of my time it was coming to your shop. I am so disappointed in the service I received and will not be recommending any brides-to-be to visit you. I felt horrible when I walked out of your shop and so upset that my mum had just flown 9 hours to see her daughter try on wedding dresses and you took that moment away from us. I hope this makes you realise that this is a huge moment in any girls life and you robbed me of that! I’m so disappointed.

The team at And The Veil are great from the start to finish they took total care of my friend, they were able to get a customised dress on a 6 week rush for her January wedding for under her budget. It is the dress of her dreams. We cant stop saying how great the entire team was, so easy and so many options for girls sizes 16-20. I will be refering all my friends here. Very size inclusive, great boutique and amazing staff members.

Mum and I walked into the store without an appointment last Wednesday and they were able to squeeze us in. The shop is big and bright, and there is so many dresses to choose from. I was looked after by Rebecca and Bronwyn who were very knowledgeable, caring and listened to my thoughts and opinions. They were very patient, personable, professional and respected my dress budget. They made my experience so fun and relaxed. I can't believe I found my dress within the first 10 minutes, mum even shed a tear - thank you very ladies. I can't wait to wear my Stella York dress. From one very happy bride!

Run down:
Bridesmaids Dresses were ordered last year first week of october. I emailed in jan/feb asking what was the go with the dresses
To be told there was a delay due to christmas and new years plus chinese new year when chinese new year means nothing to us here in australia and was never mentioned as a factor! Anyway then they say yep its ordered pay now it will arrive in that week, it never did jadore the company for dresses calls me my cousin speaks to her as i could not and is informed it was sent to rockhampton qld!
So my girls had to re organise their schedules for the following saturday instead one girl could not make it so had to out source someone else to alter the dress causing more stress on us.
Then all that gets organised all is okay we go for my final fitting and pick up of all dresses tess asks my cousin to get the veil to make sure all is good and thats when we are told lies after lies about 1st its not here as something is wrong with material and will be here in 2 weeks when my wedding is 1 week away. (Never mentioned to me prior that this was the case) then comes back with the veil folded multiple times out of a bag and says no this is your veil the one i ordered. My cousin questioned where that was from as it was out of a bag and you just said mine was not there for above reasons. Another lady comes and says this is from someone elses order yet still folded the same and in no bag!
PACK OF LIARS and still continuing to lie in your response to my mum!

I got married last Saturday and I was looked after by Bronwyn and Rebecca who were fantastic throughout my entire experience at And The Veil Geelong. I moved my wedding date forward (2 months) and they were able to accomodate with a rushed order as well as for my bridesmaids. Tess was able to complete my alterations in a really short period of time and all my additions to the dress were beautiful - great work. 10/10. Amazing service and passionate team.
