Anakie General Store

Great food and staff. Very accommodating. Our granddaughter was named after this town so we couldn't miss it. They have Anakie tshirts on sale, couldn't miss one of those

Surprisingly good. Outside it doesn't look like much. Inside, there's the usual pies and battered fare, soft drinks etc but also beer, wine and other alcohol. I'm gluten intolerant so none of the food in the hot display was suitable. However, the proprietor kindly made.e a chicken salad with sweet chilly sauce which was absolutely delicious. We sat in the sun at the tables out the back with wine but there are also tables inside.

Always stop here for coffee on my way through, so good and also lovely fresh sandwiches and cakes

Stopped here on a day trip and grabbed a schnitzel, bacon, onion and cheese sandwich which was absolutely delish!

What a find! Behind the not very appealing facade lies an absolute treat. Wonderful selection of take-away and freshly made food and great coffee. All served with efficiency and a smile. There's a lovely sunny courtyard too with a most entertaining Rooster.

Great takeaway food ready to go as well as general store goods. I like how they have a variety that is simple but great quality so much so we both drive out of our way to keep coming back. I am impressed how well they judge demand to have a bit of everything available but not so much it goes stale. That must take extra care and effort to acheive.

Use to be my favourite tuck shop ever! Meanwhile, it's been a couple of years since I visited last! Went back on the weekend and I was very dissapointed.

Stop by here when I'm working out this way. Always have loads of food ready, burgers, sandwichs, you name it they've got it, very well priced too for such a small town, big chicken schnitzel burger with the lot for $7.50 is cheap. Definitely worth stopping by if you are travelling through.

This place is very surprising
I'd doesnt look super flash on the outside but being a country place its not suppose to either.this is the local post office, quick take away food and the local for milk and bread-and-butter surprisingly enough its also the local for drinks and you can eat a restaurant type meal on Friday nights.
I was riding through the bush with my partner then rode to this place for a beer and food.

Its a favourite. Andrew & family are great Support a local family & stop to grab a drink

No doubt a great store for locals with not much else around.
For those travelling thru, a good range of products with friendly staff.

Fantastic little General Store with it all! Perfect place to stop before a day of hiking the local trails, can't wait to go back

By far the best salad salad sandwiches I've ever had and we regularly detour out to get them! Staff are friendly and food is always fresh, definitely recommend detouring if you're near by

I stoppted here in the truck. The staff were really friendly and I had the best hamburger with the lot that I have ever eaten

Got all the supplies you need if you are off to the Brisbane Ranges and Anakie Gorge. It's the only shop in Anakie so expect to pay a little more for itens. There' a small bar there and a petrol bowser and ice for your esky.
