Placed an order online for click and collect after reading that the item was a 'ready for collection within 48hrs' item via click and collect. 2 days after placing order, I still had not received a confirmation email and was told by customer service rep that the order had not yet been verified and the Anaconda process is to verify first (including placing a hold on my bank funds to the amount), THEN send the confirmation email. This makes the online click and collect ordering information very misleading. I specifically chose to purchase from Anaconda based on the information provided at time of purchase because my purchase was time sensitive. Customers might understand unavoidable delays out of the control of the business. However Anaconda's process is not about an unavoidable delay. 'Ready for collection within 48hrs' is not possible if the order has not even been confirmed 2 days after an order has been placed. If Anaconda's processes cannot meet the 'ready within 48 hrs' commitment, it should not advertise it.

A mate and fellow member of defence was treated unfairly whilst trying to return a pair of hiking boots.
Would not recommend.

Good range of outdoorsy items. When it's busy a bit of a pain. And better do your homework as some of the staff have no clue. But they are nice.

Shopped here for years, bought a pair of hiking boots, and after one hike they split open, asked if I could buy another pair and return these ones and was denied.
I was treated very rudely by the manager Matt, and will not be shopping here anymore.
Would not recommend this store, especially to fellow defence members.

Excellent service from staff member Matt (I think he may be the manager but not 100% sure). I had an issue with a product I purchased approximately 12 months ago and Matt sorted the problem straight away. Really appreciate the fantastic service, Matt! Cheers

I was completely insulted and disgusted at the way the manager at Frankston treated me today after wanting to return a stained jacket that i had purchased, i had gotten the jacket home and tried to return it. The manager made me out to be a liar and tried to discredit my honesty. He first refused to change it over and then after speaking to the direct manufacturers agreed to swap it over. I had the jacket home and saw the satins after an hour.
I did not mark this jacket myself.
The manager was very rude and spoke to me like i was a criminal.

Flip tap bung. 30 in stock. Poor dude couldnt find any. Im a master at going to a store and them not having the thing I want.

Staff are super friendly and don't try to push high prices on you they're just interested in helping you purchase the thing you want.:)

Ah "Kelly on lane 2". A prime example of why the retail space is suffering. If you want to get an experience where even an online order confirmation has a friendlier vibe then come on down to Anaconda in Frankston. Where "Kelly on lane 2" can show you some of the worst retail experiences the world has to offer. There was no queue despite it being less than 2 weeks til christmas. Big suprise with Kelly scaring everyone she 'barely' talks to. I won't be coming back and i will be sure to recommend on all my social media accounts that i prefer MacPac over Anaconda. Good one Kelly!

Matt is amazing when it comes to bikes I've had my bike in the shop many times and every time Matt looks after it so well and knows what he's doing thanks heaps

I have bought 3 bikes and lots of camping equipment here in the last few years. I can only say the service is always good. In regards to John Trealors review about bikes I know there has been a permanent part -time guy (sorry don't know his name) there for this time. I have also had to wait a day or 2 for a bike to built because they are busy. The last time I needed a bike for a birthday the bike guy built it in 30 mins as it was a priority. So sorry princess John if you don't get everything you want immediately.
