Kids meals are great. Dog friendly in court yard. Meals were beautiful. Taff very friendly and accommodating. Great setup.

Wow - what a standout the staff have been over such a busy New Years! Friendly and accommodating even when run off their feet. Great to see! We witnessed some very entitled customers who showed some very unattractive traits. Congratulations on your tenacity dealing with challenging customers.

Food is average at best. Manger basically shut us down when asking why the entrees and mains came out at the same time. Main meals went cold while eating entrees, steak over cooked which was meant to be 350 grms would have been 200 grms at best. Wouldn’t recommend!

The 50$ chefs special steak was the most underwhelming steak I've ever had. The tiny but well cooked steak came with a boring salad and partially limp chips. I went to Hungry Jacks afterwards. The 3 stars on the food is for the beer selection.

2 piece Band grand - though the female singer didn't have enough self confidence, she actually was really really good.
Toilets clean, great staff.

What a great pub in Echuca central location and the chicken burger was as good as I have ever had

Very disappointment! We understand the changes with COVID restrictions, even more reason your service should be a 5 star not 2 star. Booked table and arrive at booking time, unbooked customer was at our table so had to wait while they relocated them and cleaned down the table. Waiter then took off with no instructions. Though he would come back with menus after waiting 5 mins noticed a QR code on the cutlery box. Attempt to try book food online now taken 15mins, to then over hear another waiter giving customers menus and saying to order at the bar. Headed to the bar asap to order food and drinks as we only had 1 hour time slot. Food was great. After dinner had 10mins left so headed to the bar to order dessert to be told we didn't have enough time and not able to order anything else. If service was better they would of made more money out of us.

Great place and set up, only disappointed there was a time limit to eat and no excuses just had to get out.

Great atmosphere great staff but ordered cob loaf was still frozen sent back but still not right (was refunded though) had gnocci was stone cold and tastless, might have been just pressure of covid restrictions

Everything we hoped it would be. Low and Slow Kings! Had the Brisket, it's a show stopper. Great variety of frothies on offer. Great food. Great venue. Can't wait to come back!

Disappointing, ordered rib eye, dry and over cooked. Had to order sides as empty plate look. This is echuca not south melbourne.

Best service was from the meet and great guy who checked our ID and took us to our table. Otherwise too hard to get served, people pushing in. No in and out line structure. Booked for a meal and ended up leaving instead. Disappointed.

Sorry American, we expected better. After reading good reviews, along with the price, we expected amazing meals. Ours were average as well as small. Lucky we'd ordered a side of chips. We also ordered a garlic bread, which was an interesting take on a garlic cob. Also, please change your new ordering system - it is not user friendly, at all - bring back the old fashioned menu.

Can't complain about my meal but one of our family ordered the eye fillet came as two pieces who cuts an eye fillet looked like meat ends red wine jous tasted way to much like soy drinks were fine

Was great, considering covid regs, we sat outside for drinks. Staff were a little busy, seemed understaffed but very polite & friendly. Hopefully next time will stay for a meal inside. Have had breakfast in the courtyard a few yrs back & it was wonderful.

Awesome pub, good staff and great range of beers and drinks! The fitout is great and suitable for all seasons and weather. Will be back for sure.

Had a great evening. Booked a table right next to the fireplace. Perfect setting for a cold winters night. My first time in Echuca and the American Hotel did not disappoint.
The decor, atmosphere, layout, service and friendly staff was excellent. There are a range of areas to sit and dine and the menu had plenty on offer. It was a busy night which added to the appeal so the food took a little longer, but it is to be expected during school holidays.

It is ok for a country pub.if meals were any smaller you would need only a saucer to put them on. The big item is the price.
