Amara Wellness Centre

Honestly, I don't get facials very often, but when I do I go for some pampering and relaxation rather than results. I am a wellness skeptic, but the rejuvenating facial at Amara was incredible - more like an intense facial massage that managed to alleviate tension that I never knew I had. It was the day before lockdown and Zara was crazy busy, but she was so calm and lovely and gave me 100% of her attention even though she was under the pump herself. I'm a Brunswick local but had never heard of Amara before - weird, considering it's such a gorgeous place and real hidden gem. A very unique and special treatment form a therapist who really knows what she is doing. Definitely recommend.

We were ripped off badly.

The treatments were very rushed. I had a $340 voucher for a hammam ritual and then paid a further $85 on the day for a side treatment that Zara recommended during my session. My mum's appointment ran simultaneous with mine but was done by the same lady, Zara, which given between us we paid almost $1000 and were in and out in under two hours was disappointing and steep, especially considering each appointment should have run for at least 90-minutes - not both in and out in under 120-minutes. I was sat waiting in a cold sauna for about half of my session. It was meant to be a relaxing day, especially for my mum, who was recovering from kidney cancer, which Zara knew. We didn’t even get the full treatments from the vouchers we had, let alone the upsells.
At other, reputable spas you can spend the same and receive a four-hour session per person, with more therapies and uninterrupted, one-on-one treatment offered.

Over priced$$$$. Rip off experience. The owner is money $$$ hungry.
She is very unprofessional.fake claims on her website been "Multi-Award Winning Wellness Sanctuary". Spa dirty mould.

I have been attending Amara Wellness Centre for over 2 years. There is no place like it. Dr Zara Celik is a gifted professional who goes beyond her capabilities to ensure that you leave the centre with a renewed sense of yourself physically, mentally and spiritually. If you are searching for a place to restore your wellbeing look no further!

Dr Zara has been very helpful with my progression of getting clearer skin. With only 5 sessions of microcurrent my blemishes are already fading and I definitely feel a lot more confident. I learnt a lot about skin during these sessions and am very grateful to have found her! Thanks so much Dr Zara

I went in for the express hamam and left feeling refreshed, relaxed and inspired. Being a first time mom self care hasn’t been my priority as of late, but I’m glad I took the time out for myself today. After having a conversation regarding my general well-being with Dr. Zara she shared some gems with me, which has left me inspired and motivated to take my well-being more seriously. Dr Zara has a beautiful aura and I would highly recommend paying her a visit!

Dr Zara is passionate, caring and provides the ultimate service. From start to finish explaining her treatments and ensuring I feel comfortable! I would recommend any of my family and friends to her as I know she has my best interest at heart.
