Loveliest store owner I've ever met. I definitely recommend this tailor. The work gets done and isn't priced too high.

I would not use this lady again for more than hemming trousers. She put holes in 2 pairs of trousers, wrecked a top beyond recovery and worked on a dress that I’ve got to pay someone else to fix.
I am so disappointed and honestly angry. I didn’t spend money to have my clothes ruined.

Stella is a wonderfully skilled tailor but often commits to unrealistic turnaround times with her work, as customers push her to take on even more. Please be patient & don't take advantage of her beautiful nature.

Stella is a gifted seamstress/tailor who under prices her work/ART so please be generous. No website but she doesn’t need it due to the local Sandringham residents that appreciate and admire her work. Local Sandringham Facebook page just saw over 100 likes and over 20 comments within 4 hours of a resident wanting to express his gratitude.

I had a very mixed experience. My leather jacket took 5 weeks longer than the original promise but was altered very professionally. Of the three sets of jeans shortened one was excellent, one reasonable and the other one I probably could have done better myself. Stella was courteous, friendly and the prices were all reasonable.

My first time having 2 dresses hemmed up by Stella - what a lovely, sweet and genuine lady she is! She makes you feel so comfortable and her prices are very fair and reasonable. She is definitely going to be my new local tailor!

I got a pair of pants altered here and my school uniform, it was done quickly and of high quality, she is a wonderful woman Stella, she was extremely kind and respectful, would highly recommend!

I had such a lovely experience. I had a difficult alteration that another place stated they could not do without much of an explanation. I called ahead and Stella encouraged me to come to the store on a public holiday to have a look. She took the time to discuss and troubleshoot different options for the alteration and was so warm, kind and considerate.

Stella is a total delight. Well priced and does a brilliant job. I've never not been 100% satisfied. And she always gives me a lollie!:)

WOULD NOT GIVE ONE STAR
After taking a blouse to be altered the machine Stella used leaked oil onto blouse I said not to worry I had bought from op shop anyway. Stella said she would fix it. I went back a week later & as she just ignored me I thought she was busy hwvr after waiting & her serving another person I meekly asked about the blouse. She screamed at me pretending I was at fault. Literally pushed me out the door & making out in front of other person I was at fault. I did not want to make a fuss hwvr I will NEVER go into that place again. It was humiliating and I was gobsmacked

Could not recommend Stella highly enough! After having my wedding dressed ruined by another alteration business where I paid $100’s. I was lucky enough to have Stella work back after hours in the short time I had to try and fix the mess made of my dress. Stella was nothing but empathetic and compassionate to me, she was willing to work on my dress for hours until it was perfect! Stella is clearly skilful and great at what she does, she was able to fix holes in lace and unpick terrible alterations made prior. I am so thankful to have been recommend to see Stella, she literally saved my wedding day. At such an important time in a woman’s life, Stella will make you feel top priority! Do yourself a favour and see Stella if you need quality skilled alterations. Thanks again Stella!

She promised me they would have been ready by close of business Saturday and I have gone in on Monday mid morning and she still has not started them. Aside from not being ready 3 times, Stella was also incredibly rude to us, raised her voice at us, called us liars and then slammed the door to the shop after we left. I have never experience such poor customer service and I definitely would not return let alone recommend her services.

My friend is getting married and we gave Stella our bridesmaid dresses to alter and made an appointment for final fitting 3 weeks later. When we showed up for our appointment it was closed and we couldn't get through to her. We made another appointment a week later and when we got there only one of 4 dresses were done and the others were untouched. Stella started yelling at us for not confirming the appointment we had made on Monday for Friday (which we didn't know we had to do) and was very unprofessional. After a session of scolding and yelling she asked if we wanted to continue the work on the dresses but all trust was absolutely lost. Would not recommend, she was very rude.
