Alter It Melbourne Central

Wow. What a RUDE man. Simply asked questions of how he would be doing the alteration. To my surprise, it was much cheaper than i expected. He assumed i was thinking it was too expensive. Another client walked in to collect and he huffed and puffed and said I'm busy and threw my pants in my face. The lovely lady downstairs now has my business.

I altered a chiffon formal dress here for a 21st birthday, pretty last minute request. Everything turned out perfectly in such a short time frame, thank you so much!

Brought a Politix suit pants for tapering. Kim with with a warm reception did an excellent job and she knew exactly what she was doing. My pants looks amazing slim fit. Affordable price and job done withing an hour. 5 star and definitely will be back again. Thank you Kim

The Alter It in Melbourne CBD Melbourne Central Station, is one of the best with the excellent professional services, I have ever had in Melbourne.
I have had their services before, usually with the shortening my pants, etc.
Their results are always extremely neat and tidy and very well sewed.

I highly recommend their services.
They also are very fast, usually fast.

Great service, advice and quality work. This is a busy store, so be patient with the Staff and Management. We've been using Alter It for years. Their new Melbourne Central location is bright, clean and friendly. With almost 100 garments being altered and improved, we wouldn't trust our clothing with anyone else.

This place is an absolute joke!
Paid $70 to get my brand new (with tags) white pants tailored. When I picked them up, they had several marks on them, to which the sales rep told me it was because I had tried them on in their change rooms. Told the sales rep that it wasn’t my fault nor my responsibly to clean their change rooms. I requested my money back as I knew I had photos of the pants that were completely clean prior to leaving them at the alterations place. The sales rep refused to give me my money back and told me that I had to find a dry cleaners as they could not do it on Saturday. The rudeness, arrogance and unwillingness to help that we received from the male staff member continued for approximately 30 minutes, yet during this time he did not accept responsibility for the mistake that their company made.

Terrible terrible service, they ruined my 350$ Sandro white sweater and claimed my sweater were already in that condition when I took it to the store. The sweater was the only gift from one of my friend, when I was packing for house moving today I found this sweater, all awful experience come back to me right away. I'll never, ever forget about how this store ruined my meaning sweater and denied they made mistake.

Got my late father's suit adjusted to fit me. Fits perfectly. Also they found $2 in the pocket and attached in a bag when the could have just taken it. Always smiling when you come in

I got my trousers shortened today and very pleased. Great service. These guys are at the MC tower side and not near the escalators that go down to Coles.

Had my suit altered here recently, great quality and the tailors are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and come back again for future alterations.

The old Asian man there is the rudest man I've ever met. Come to alterit Melbourne central if you wanna be yelled at For only simply asking and confirming quotes.seems like he treats women better than males, seeing as the lady in front of me was served normally. Oh, and I was recommended by my gf to come here.

Very rude and expensive. Also first time I picked up my clothes they actually didnt do anything and they said they did. Than I had to come back again.

Had a suit needing attention for a party and in a hurry. I had it taken in around the sides and now it fits like a tailored suit. Great job guys see you again definitely

This place is a complete rip-off, they charged me $35 to take the waistband in on a pair of pants and messed it up. There was still 2 inches slack when I tried them on. I took them back for a refund and was ignored, then yelled at. I didn't want them to touch my clothes again because they were expensive pants but they refused a refund, only said they would try to take them in again. The people here are SO rude and only care about getting your money.

Went to have an iron-patch stitched to a shirt—the work was cheap but the quality was average (the thread didn't match the patch very well and the stitching itself wasn't straight). Good for small jobs but if you're looking for quality I'd reccomend somewhere else.
