Alyssa & Parisa have been incredible. I am so happy with my Bridesmaids dress. It has been quick & easy. The dress is very tailored to my body. They knew exactly what they were doing. Can’t recommend enough x

To say this business went above and beyond is an understatement. My top had broken just before I needed to go to an event and the staff were so accommodating, fixing it within half an hour, and just before they closed too! They did such a fantastic job and were so empathetic of my situation. Couldn’t recommend them more, thank you again you were a life saver!

Went to Alter It Hawthorn and spoke to Parisa regarding a tear on the collar of an expensive jacket, which I was hoping to use that evening.
Parisa said it couldn't be repaired in time, however offered a workaround which resulted in a an alternative which allowed me to walk out of the shop with the collar appearing perfectly normal!
Parisa and her staff at Alter It have won me over.friendly, efficient and they know their craft.

My daughter Maria used this service. She basically altered the whole dress and did it with one fitting. Professional, great job and in time.

I dont wanna give even one start. The Lady was rude. Just asking cost, Even not closing time and her attitudes was like annoyed me. I m not gonna use this business.

They offer excellent tailoring for suits and dresses. I am always happy and impressed by their services.

Recently had some items altered here, all I can say is that I’m very disappointed with the result. Very unprofessionally done, didn’t listen to what I had requested.

Over priced, unsatisfactory work. Save yourself the trouble, go elsewhere.

I had a great experience with Alter It Hawthorn! I went in to get a suit altered for an event on a tight schedule. The person that served me was pleasant & professional, and I was in and out within 10 minutes with a promised pick up date & time. My suit was finished ahead of schedule and the result was a massive improvement on overall fit/appearance - couldn't ask for more.

I can not recommend this place more highly! Parisa is amazing at all kinds of alterations and her service is so quick. I’ve been going here for about two years, most recentlya I went in to have a top altered and was hoping to get it back within 2 days. Despite being completely flat out she had it ready in one day! And incredible quality! Thank you Parisa.

Great alterations and repairs from Alter It Hawthorn. I’ve used them for years and have been happy and impressed with the work. I take in all my items that need to be altered for my height and have taken in multiple nice dresses from Zimmerman for alterations and it is always done with keeping the original design and shape in mind. I’ve recently taken in a dress that was accidentally torn and was so impressed with the subtle repair, I could hardly tell where it was torn! Highly recommended.

Fabulous boutique clothing alteration shop in Hawthorn! Have been to quite a few places. Parisa goes above and beyond for customer service and customer satisfaction. Each shirt I got tailored was exactly what I wanted. Would highly recommended this shop for anything clothing alteration or adjusting needs!

0 out of 5. Totally ruined the aesthetic of my jeans. Asked for them to be taken in and it was horribly executed without letting me know how they planned to do it. When we went to try and fix them had horrible customer service and no solution or refund. Pretty upset that now my favourite jeans are unwearable.

They make the process efficient and easy! Their quality is very good. I purchased a gown online for a formal event. I am not tall.hence the need to have the length altered. Cost is a little higher than I'd expected, however I am paying for quality work and a cheaper service might mean I'm unhappy with the outcome. Not the case here! 5 stars for these girls.
