24Great experience, dropped off suit pants to be shortened and they were ready within 45 minutes and at a great price. I also asked for an invisible hem and a taper towards the back of the shoes which I brought into store with me and they handled it with ease. Thanks to Queenie for her professionalism.
I've shorten my 2 pairs of newly bought jeans at Alter It Box Hill today. One of the jeans was significantly shorter than another pair. This was already cannot be acceptable. Other than that, the right side of the jeans was shorter by 1.5cm which was really significant. Just wasted my money to go to this shop to shorten the length of the jeans. Definitely will not go back to this shop nor recommend to anyone.
Expensive, expensive, expensive! I do not recommend this place. You can get alterations much cheaper. Shop around.
$55 to merely trim the sleeves of a jacket. I decided to cancel a minute after I paid and the lady basically shitted arounded saying it's "very difficult to return cash because of the franchise nature", A MINUTE AFTER I HANDED OVER CASH - MY JACKET WAS STILL NOT TOUCHED NOR SERVICED IN ANY WAY. In the end she made me wait an hour pretending to phone call HQ, and when she did end up handing my money back she told me not to "waste their time". You be the judge of what type of store this is.
